effaced is the cervix thinning out you have to be 100% effaced (thinned) before you have your baby
|

kelly is correct. i am 38 weeks and 50% effaced at a -2 and dialated to one. .... you need to be a +5 and 100% effaced and dialated to 10 to have your baby. hope this helps
