I've noticed a lot of times that babies born through c-section usually have a round shaped head while a baby born va___ally has a cone shaped head. This was tv that I saw all this so what are the chances of this happening average? Also when they have to use the suction thing, does that sucked out part of the head ever go down? I saw that once and it looked real weird.

most babies born v____ally have an odd sheped head for the first few hours, my baby had it for less than 2min. however some c-section babies can have slightly misshapen heads if they had started down the birth ca___l at all or if their head began its desent through the pelvis, say in the case of an emergency c-section. in fact my friend had one yesterday and she said her baby's head looked cone shaped for about 2 hours. its totally normal, it always goes back to normal, and it happens because their cranial bones have not yet fused together since their brain is still growing and it actually makes birth easier for everybody since there is a little room for 'movement'.

The skull bones are soft and as sagekelli said not fused to make birth easier on the mom and baby. My dd was a v____al and at first she had a very slightly coned head. By the afternoon her head was just as "perfect" as a c section baby. A big difference was that I was able to care for my dd immediatey because unlike a c section I was not cut open and sewn shut. I was perfectly fine and sitting crosslegged on the hospital bed flipping through channel as soon as I woke up from my nap.

Both of my children were born v____ally and neither had an odd shaped head, they weren't in the birth ca___l for very long though. Even if the baby's head is a little misshapen after birth it will return to normal.
