Yes, I absolutely believe this test works. Once we heard about it with my moms last pregnancy, we did it on EVERYONE. It has been right everytime! It does even pick up on miscarriages (which was hard for my gramma bc she had 4). I am sticking to it until I see it be wrong. It says I am having a girl and so we will see Thursday if I am! I believe that I am with all of my heart :)

Has anybody ever held wedding ring on lock of hair/string over stomach to see if having boy/girl? Did it work? What if you're not preg. at that time?

Yes this test works. My family has used this test back 5 generations and has worked every time. You can use rings,pencil with string. I am pregnant with my 2nd child and have used this both times, always right. I purchased everything for both children with out confirmation from ultrasound first. All my firends said i should not. Guess what? yes the ultrasound confirmed the test was right. The test will go round for boy and staight or back in forth for girl.

I forgot to say you should do this over your belly b___ton if preg. if you are not preg it will show what children you have had and anymore you may have. If you are preg it will do the same thing for ever. If it is a boy it will go around and around till you stop the test.

is front and back mean girl, or boy, with a needle, thread and a pencil, and oh, do you do it over the stomach or the wrist?

Front and back means girl. You do this over your stomach if you are preg. Circle is for boy.

I had the pencil test and it said I was having a girl. I am DEFINITELY having a boy per my 3D, 4D ultra sound!

I've never been pregnant and am not now. A while ago I've had this test done by several people and they all said that I was going to have three boys even though I never told them what the others predicted. I just recently did it again and now it says that I"m not going to have any children. Has anyone experienced this ?

My girlfriend has done the pencil test twice and it was accurate. Also, for the past 13 years in her office the women have done these tests and only one of them was wrong. I have done the test, but I do not have kids yet so I will let you know if it works on me.

i don't no about pencil test but my boyfriends dad did needle an therd test an this was about 4yrs ago he did test 5-6 times i was about 15 yrs old he did it so many times because he was so shocket that me and he son reasults were the same an demanded to say it may not mean we were meant for each other but he never was wrong on the females he had tested. I was supose to 2 boys then a girl. And im 3-4 cm dialited an sonagram show i'm supose to have a boy on the way so far test has been accurate. We'll see

LOL I always heard the pencil test was supposed to be for your b___st size. The old wives tales for babies is the tie your wedding ring to a peice of your hair.

i heard it was a gold ring on a piece of string, although i dont think it works!

Ok.. Help me! I held my wedding ring on a thread over my belly....35 times in a row it showed I was having a girl. BUT....I'm not sure I'm pregnant...too early for a test yet....has anybody had THAT happen?
