Hi all, I'm pregnant with second child now am 33 weeks pregnant. The doctor started to see me every two weeks last visit and said I'm not dilated but baby's already engaged. With my first pregnancy I was 32 weeks pregnant and was in labor I went to hospital and I was 2 cent and 70% effaced. They used magnisum sulfate IV to stop labor then sent me home 3 days later on tetrabutaline and put me on bed rest till I was 36 weeks. I then had my daughter 36 weeks 5 pounds 14 oz.. Well last visit I found out I gained 10 pounds in one week, Ive been swelling to hands and feet, I'm not dilated or effaced had no contractions He has told me to lay on left side everyday for one hour.. I was wondering if this is due to preclampsia? And if it is why he hasn't told me that I have it? Hes wanting to see me every week now, and wants to do a fetal fibroses test to see if Ill go into labor withen a week or two.
