It depends, how regular are your contractions?
Also, how in the world did you keep 4 ozs down? I couldn't even handle 2 without vomiting!

I would wait a little while on the castor oil. If not you will end up dehydrated. All of that pooing is robbing your body of its electrolytes and pota__sium. If they said it should be soon, as eager as you may be, just try to wait it out. I know your pain because I was told I wouldn't go pa__sed the weekend and here it is Wednesday. :)

I agree and would wait. Give your self at least a day if not 2 or 3. By that time your body maybe more ready. But we are there with you, I want my baby out too! One more day just sounds like an eternity.

I agree with Amie but I would certainly wait 2 or 3 days. Actually back June 12 when I was 7 months pregnant, I did become dehydrated--this wasn't from castor oil but because of a c___ppy landlord who wouldn't fix the A/C unit after 6 weeks. I am in Atlanta so it was horrible. Anyway they gave me an IV of 2 bags of electrolytes and a bag of pota__sium. I was told that even though I would feel better I would not be hydrated fully for another 2 or 3 days. I recommend waiting and if you do it again I think a container or two of Gatorade could be a good idea.
