When Does The Cervix Lower Or Drop

when i had my last check i was 3cms fully 70-75% effaced &&& they said cervix was high? just wondering when the cervix lowers or what not? and how close actual labor could be..... but ive june 1 i lost my plug for the first time (i was 1.5 cms internal; 3 cms external cervix) i was 20% effaced at that time. i started losing my plug again on the 14th meaning it regrew and im losing it again... ive been very nauseated; ive had alot of freq. soft poops & vomitting (a little bit) last time at labor & delivery they told me those are signs baby's on the way. so im just curious. im almost 38 weeks

For me, my cervix was still high when I went to the hospital to have my little one.

Oh, and I lost my plug, had loose stools and nausea the week before my water broke so you might be really close. Good luck!

I know this is TMI, but it answers your question. if you put a finger in there you should be able to tell if it is high up or low. If you can feel the opening of your cervix pretty much as soon as you put your finger in then it is low.
