Can anyone tell me if they have ever been in this category? I'm concerned about the complications that I may encounter regarding: extra weight causing additonal stress on back, my ability to take care of my baby properly after born etc....I had 3 discs taken out and fused together in my lower back. I'm still very weak and still very limited to what I can do (before the pregnancy even came into play). My doc says that as long as I stay healthy, keep my workouts up and keep my weight gain to no more than 20 more pounds I should be ok. He is mainly worried that I will have some un wanted stress from the baby weight and he doesnt want me to ruin the work that has been done - he also said that I may just need bed rest and very very limited activity towards the end. Any helpful answers would be greatly appreciated. This is my second (first was a miscarriage about 5 years ago) and I'm about to turn 36 and I have asthma. I'm just worried and I want to be the best I can be. Thank you! Laura
