2 my dates im 6weeks and 3days , i went in 2days ago and had a scan done , there sayin im 8weeks , but there is no way i am and i know that 4 sure ! anyway they did a scan and there was only the sac and no baby ! they took blood from me and 2moro after 3days i gotta go in and give them more to c if my levels r rising or not ! they sayin maybe ive had a miscarrage , ive had no bleeding , pains or cramps ! so i guess im just gonna have to wait and c ! good look 2 anyone else out there goin threw the same . will keep u posted ! nat x x x

Cat- I'm so sorry about your loss. You need to find out what kind of testing they did because if you had no problem at all and showed no sign of miscarriage. The test that they did is just the standardized test they check for diseases that would interfer with the pregnancy. They do not normally check for hcg or progesterone testing unless you have had a miscarriage before. These test shows if the baby is developing and if your able to hold the pregnancy the first 12 weeks until the placenta takes over. When you have this testing done, you usually have to go back a few times for more blood work to see if your levels are right. If you hcg levels are not right than there is nothing they can do for the pregnancy. At least that was what I was told. Ask your doctor to explain this testing to you. I am currently pregnant and have been bleeding. They tested my progesterone levels which came out low and put me on a natural progesterone to help up my levels. I'm hoping to get in to see if the baby is alright. This weekend has been very draining for me too but it is all in God's hands. I'll be praying for you and good luck.

I have miscarried twice when baby died about 7 1/2 weeks but didn't find out until scan at 10 weeks. I had had no signs either. I knew my dates exactly too. At the 10 weeks scan each time showed a baby of abot 71/2 weeks with no heartbeat. I wanted to miscarry naturally but was told it may take my body weeks more to realise and do it on it;s own and I couldn't face that. It;s horrible that the body can take so long we thought everything was fine until the scan. I was still having morning sickness and evrything. I was amazed though how clearly you could see the baby each time. Obviously they were much smaller than they should have been and not moving but even measuring 7 1/2 weeks they were so clear I could see the shape of their head and body and a tiny black dot where their eye was. I could also see a blob which I think was the placenta under them but it was so clear. In a way that made it all the harder but in a way it helped me see they were there and I didn't imagine them if you know what I mean. I am so sorry for what you are going through cat.

well ladies, yesterday I started to bleed. The blood is the same as when I first start my period dark now a bright red. Ive been ill and cramping for three days, I think my body was trying to warn me.I called the doctor and they wanted for me to wait until friday that was when I am on schedule for my D&C. I was wondering if my body was ever going to relize something was wrong. Anyway good luck to you all and thaks for being there.
