Ok I found out on Sunday by HPT that I was pregnant. I went to the doctor on Monday and they confirmed. I went to the hospital with slight spotting on Monday afternoon and they said my levels were 3289. I returned to the ER last evening (Thursday night) and my levels were now 2689 dropping 600 points in 2 days. They did a va___al ultrasound and found the black area that they said (I think) was the sac but said they couldn't detect a heart beat but it may be too early. They then found out the results of the HCG level test and said I was in a "threatened Miscarriage" and to report to the OB as planned today. She said the same thing but added since there was no heart beat found and no fetal pole then it was evident there was a rejected pregnancy. They have estimated my pregnancy being 6 weeks 3 days as of today. I thought my last MP was on Sept. 20th but I'm thinking it was closer to Sept. 30th. Could it be that I am not as far along as they suspected and that this pregnancy might still stand a chance? I have another HCG test on the 11th of Nov. (next thursday) and then have to report to the OB on the 18th. She wants to know at that time do I want to let my body finish rejecting or do I want to proceed with the D&C. I don't want to give up hope on this. If anyone can shed any light on this please help. My main question is What the heck is the fetal pole lol. I can't seem to find any information explaining what this means. I can't seem to figure out how I have a 5 year old daughter who was a perfectly normal pregnancy and didn't have a worry one and didn't find out until my 3rd month with her because tests came up neg until a blood test was done.. anyway please email me any help at BeckyAnn1979@gmail.com with subject being Pregnancy.
