One Time Drug Use Before I Knew

I did not know I was pregnant and used the drug ecstasy once when I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I am very concerned about the health of the baby and am absolutely haunted by this. Does anyone know how this could have affetced the baby?

There is not very much information on this, but i believe looking at the effects of the drug on you is a good example. If it contained heroin or cocaine it may affect the baby's heart. If it was just ectasy then it should of just affected your body by releasing your ceratonin. The biggest risks with drug use is the abuse of the drug. Should you stay away from them from now on the risks of damage to your unborn fetus are probably slim to none. Worrying about this will not help but maintaining a healthy lifestyle certainly will.
