I am 39, and pregnant with my third child. I had my first trimester screening which was normal. I had the quad screen done the week before Christmas and it came back screen positive. I have a 1:108 chance of having a child with downs syndrome. I am terrified. I just had the new blood test materniT21. I am anxiously awaiting my results, which could take up to 3 weeks. I have spent many sleepless nights obsessing over this. Has anyone else out there had this blood test?

What were your results? My triple screening came back high risk for Trisomy 13 and 18. I am so worried! I hope you baby turned out ok. I work with children with DS, and they are the happiest children.
