HB at 8 weeks (or at any point) is a very good sign. That's not to say that something won't go wrong (we had healthy HBs at 6, 8, & 10 weeks and had a miscarriage in the 11th week - not to scare you), but statistically your chances are very good (95-98% likely to continue with pregnancy, or that's what the doctors told us).
