Littleonewy, I know exactly what you are going through. The only difference is that I am married. When I found out that I was pregnant with the IUD, I was in shock. My husband was furious. He was so angry because we had chose to not have my tubes tied since we were both still young and get the IUD. None of our kids were planned and the fact that I chose to have them helped me with the decision I had to make. I was told that I could have it removed but it would cause a spontaneous abortion. Well to me spontaneuos or not it was still an abortion. I heard the heart beat at 11 weeks and I could not do that. We are struggling now financially, but I just don't think that I could have lived with myself if I would have had it removed. My husband wanted me to have it removed and when I chose to leave it in he was very upset. It wasn't until I found out that it was a girl when he started to come around. I have been very confused but I did pray and leave it in God's hands and so far so good. I have faith that everything will work out. I am not sure what you are leaning more towards, but like they have been saying it is your decision and I stress YOUR. You are the one who will live with it the rest of your life. My family has always told me that no matter how well you plan, no matter how rich you are you will NEVER be financially ready for a child. I know that you will have two children within months of each other, but I too am in that position. My yougest just turned 1 and I am due in Feb. They will be 16 months apart. The good thing is that my youngest is a girl so they will hopefully grow up close. My sister is 7 years younger so this is kind of exciting. I also have a 5 year boy. He is excited, but he really wanted a brother. Like I said before, you are the only one who can make the decision, not to be mean, most men can say that, but it is not their body. I mean you are the one who makes the decision and will have to live with it. He can make the decision, but he won't necessarily have to live with it. You get what I am saying? Well, I will be thinking of you and you do what you think is best for you and YOUR family.

I have not talked about it much I am bottleing it all up inside. I feel lost and some what lonly, but I can sit here and hurt for myself I need to hurt for the life inside of me. why does something so sweet and inocent have to go through so much. I can only wonder why. But thanks to you and some others things will turn out for the best. Thank you everyone for just being you, I appreciate it and I will keep you all updated.

there are acouple girls who were bleeding and pregnant on this site,, Holly was bleeding for about a month and didnt know she was pregnant, she was actually miscarrying though. I also thought the mirena was the 5 year because it has the hormones and the copper iud was for 10, i dont know though, also acouple girls posted that the hormomes that are in the iud sometimes give you pregnancy symptoms even though your not pregnant. When i was bleeding alot and i was having pregnancy symptoms as well, besides the missed period, my doctor ordred a blood test and I wasnt pregnant. If you have the mirena it could be the hormomes, but i would get it checked out call your doctor and get a blood test thats the only way to be sure

I'm 26 years old and have 2 daughters. I have had the IUD in for almost 2 years, and my periods have been regular till this last one, I just spotted. I have had really bad mood swings this last week and my b___bs or really swollen and tender. I'm really afraid to take a test, becuase I have had 2 miscarriages before so I'm already high risk.

Alicia - September 28

take the test asap!!!!! better to find out earlier, than later

Hi ladies....well i am back again, but this time not b/c I am worried that i may be pregnant, that has been ruled out by numerous ultrasounds....however my problem now is bleeding....I have been bleeding now for 3 weeks off and on....and the cramps that are coming along with it are unbearable....i am miserable....I have an appt on Thursday.....i have decided that i am definitely having my IUD removed....I have the Mirena, have had it in going 3 years.....it was awesome in the beginning, but is starting to really become bothersome....has anyone else had these sorts of problems, consistent bleeding that is there one day then gone the next and back again the following day, and how about the cramps....ones that are so unbearable that they make you break out into a sweat....I told my hubby that the pains i am going through, are worse to me in comparison to labor contractions, and I had a natural childbirth, not that is saying something....so if anyone is or has experiences what i am going through, please feel free to post back here or email me at ariel22485@yahoo.com....Thank you...Tanya

hey there!! I have a question, wondering if any of you have anything similar. I have had the Mirena for 2 and a half years and no problems. All of a sudden, I had two periods in September. Stopped bleeding for a week and started again. Any help or answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

my friend is going threw a problem with her IUD. she is at the ER right now. i think everyone should go get then removed they are to dangerous. there are many more options out there. I have been on the pill for ten years without one problem. when I wanted to get pregnant i just went off it and was pregnant the next month. really think of changing!!!

If I was all of you girls i would look into sueing the company that makes the merina. Because it is stated that 98% effective and there are a whole lot of you that are pregnant to be just that 2%. Talk to a lawyer.

kristina - October 5

everything will be ok u will end up with a beautiful baby boy or girl so it will be ok
