Pregnancy Info HOME

Just went for another HCG level today....again it went up very little the dr. is still saying this is not a viable pregnancy. Why does the number still go up. I know he is going to prescribe the pill to me soon to rid this pregnancy. Should I get a 2nd opinion before I take it? I know the numbers are so low and should never have dropped in the first place and I know they should be doubling. What a nightmare!! Again my #'s were 83,64,37,38,44 now 51. Any advice would be great!!! Good news for you teigan!! You shouldn't feel bad for telling your good news!! It gives us all a little hope!! Good luck to everyone else!!

thanks for your response Teigan...there is still hope. Hope all goes well on 10.10! Thats the day I get my next HCG results so fingers crossed for us both! Hope you get used to the needles (I'm diabetic and you do eventually). ps do you know if there are any medications the doctors can give you to help with HCG levels at this stage? hiya N. im actually on help for my hormone levels, they have me on progestorone, which seems to have pushed my hcg through the roof, with this been your first pregnancy im not to sure how you would stand about doctors looking into it ( low hcg ) as i have had 4 losses and now they decided to help, but your case may be different with you been diabetic and other situations you may be in. i have my fingers and toes crossed for you for your test results, lets pray were worrying about nothing, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BY THE WAY HAS ANYONE EVER HAD TO TAKE INNOHEP, IM HAVING TO TAKE IT TO THINNEN THE B.LOOD ROUND MY PLACENTA JUST INCASE I HAVE LUPUS.. SORRY IVE BEEN WRITING IN CAPS AND ONLY JUST NOTICED. anyways would love some info on it as i dont suffer with thick blood, but my doctor said alot of people who are on ivf tend to be put on it...xxxx thanx

hiya payton, im so so sorry hun but the nubers going down dont sound to good, ive noticed with alot of girls on here its gone down then decided to go back up again, which must be very confusing and heart breaking, myself agree with the doctors, but so many of them can be wrong, so a second opinion wouldnt hurt, and would put your mind at rest, im waiting for the exact same thing to happy to me, just cant except the fact that im pregnant and cant get excited, its so upsetting.. will keep you updated and pop mi head in to see how you all are doing, take care cyber friends xxxxxxx

hi, just wanted to give an update to my last email. The HCG is fine and th u/s showed that I am 6w/0d as of last Monday. The heart beat was low at 80 and that has the dr. concerned. We are on the 10 day wait again and go back this Friday for another u/s and see if the heart rate has improved. I read about everyone elses struggles and mine seem so small. You are all in my prayers.

hello all, well i went for my scan today, and i saw the iccle sac, im only 4/5 weeks and theres me thinking im 6 maybe 7. but im just so hopeful now, but still not 100%., had some more bloods done this am, i hated been in the u/s room, especially when i want a baby so much, then a druggie came in almost ready to give birth, really peed me off. but at least i know when i have my baby i will do my best for him/her. the u/s woman worried me today, she said she could see blood round the sac, then when she scanned me the second time she said no, it was just a shadow my heart wenrt in my mouth, at first she said she couldnt even see a pregnancy, and i worried alot, so i had the magic wand and abracadabra!! there it was, aniways sorry to go on, must dash ( to the loo ) 8 gla__ses of water ewwwww xxxxxxxx take care all xxx

teigan - that is fabulous news, so happy for you. I know what you mean when you see people pregnant like that - it just doesnt seem fair. I had my bloods done again today. I have gone up but only to 53. V worried that may be etopic. Coupled with the fact that have an infection. Need to go back again Fri and Mon for tests again - is there a chance I might just be "UNUSUAL"? Or is the inevitable "inevitable"?! This being in limbo is agonising.....Really pleased for you though. Best wishes

hello N aww sweetheart you are in limbo arnt you, i feel the same, and no just because your numbers havent doubled doesnt automatically mean that you will misscarry, yes it hasnt doubled but it might shock you the next time you go for your results, they might have gone through the roof,i really really hope and pray you get good news and remember to keep in touch chrssimpsonc@aol.com i love girly chats xxx p.s how old are you N ?

josie.. i hope your u/s goes ok, and the iccle ones heartbeats picked up. to be honest though i wouldnt worry to much, its near the 100 mark aniways so its not that bad, sometimes doctors over worry. good luck xxxxxx

Thanks, Teigan. We had a scare last night. I wasn't feeling well and started to spot. It stopped though and this morning I am just tired. I called the on-call dr. and never got a call back. Not sure if I should call the dr. today or just wait for my appointment on Friday? Take care and thank you again for the encouragement.

hi josie, from experience many times with this, i would seek a doctor, and a better one for that matter, why did you not get a call back? thats disgusting. at least the bleeding has stopped, but just to be on the safe side, i would either get a doc, or go to your nearest hospital, say you have had bleeding, i know this sounds awful but make it look worse than what they think it is, they should give you an u/s. just to set your mind at rest. all this waiting sucks...i hope you feel better soon, you and your hubby xxxxxxxxx

i think i live in here.. just got my results for my hcg.. on monday it was 1162 or somehing like that.. today 3464.. so thats a good sign i think.

hi, I just got back from the dr. they did an u/s and we lost the baby. They think it was last week sometime. We are all sad here and sorry to share sad news. Congratulations, on your great numbers Tiegan. I will keep you in my prayers.
