Hi all! Good luck Sasha, i am praying for you from this part of the world!. Congratulations Healing! I am on week 29 and I was told also that I will have a c-section on week 39, October 20 KB don´t know why you should be having a high risk pregnancy. in my case the doctor told me that everything will be normal except from the last part of it. The last months are the more difficult ones. They try to avoid you to go into pre birth labor so you have no risk of uterine rupture. Appart from that everything is normal. Hope I can hold her in until the end!

Damajuana Congratulations on week 29!!! Only 10 more weeks to go for you! Thanks Healing for the reply. I actually don't mind if they do treat me as a high risk when I do get preggers.... if that means more appointments and a closer watchful eye. I think that my dr. tends to be more on the conservative side. At my drs appt on Monday he told us that he would suggest that we ttc early next year. I wasn't very happy with that response (considering that he left 1 fibroid in there that's submucosal and 2.5 cm and I only have 1 working fallopian tube that he said may or may not be blocked by scar tissue from the AM). The fibroids that he removed were close to the one and only tube that I have that's working so he said that there's a possibility of scar tissue damaging it. Anyway, he told me that if I'm not preggers by this time next year then we can discuss fertility options then. I expressed to my dr that I want to be a bit more aggressive and try sooner. I don't want to deal with this any longer than I have to. I will be thankful to have one child so if we can just have one successful pregnancy that would be such a blessing and I won't have to spend the next few years worrying about it. So, the dr basically said that if we wanted to try sooner then everything should be ok so my hubby and I are going to begin ttc next month after my 3rd cycle which will be 3 months after the AM. I pray that everything goes well. I've finally started dreaming again... I had stopped having dreams after losing my son in March and just this week I started having dreams again. I hope that's a positive sign! Wish me luck. KM is everything going ok? Were you able to begin ttc this month? KB

Hello, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. My husband and I cheated and tried to start last month (July) However, that ended in a BIG FAT NEGATIVE. I was hoping that maybe by chance but I guess it wasn't meant to be. My period was not late it was 35 days apart like the last cycle. My husband was out of time when I was ovulating. Healing and Damajuana congrats on your pregnancy... May God be with you and child throughout this journey. Make sure you keep us posted on everything you two are our inspiration. Sasha God Blessings on your next cycle of IVF. Keep a positive mind and give praise and all shall work out well. Try to remain stress free I know it's hard cause I was checking the ovulation calendar I printed off the internet everyday. LOL.... I know I am crazy. KB good luck on trying next month. Ms. Monet how are you and those twins? Joker where are you? Remember to keep God first in all you do. Bye.

P.S. to all those who are pregnant did you ever use the home ovulation kit? Do you know of anyone who has? I am debating if I should purchase the $199.00 ovulation mointor (it's reusable). It's very expensive but just wanted to ask.

Hi KM Williams~ Sorry about your BFN last month. It will definitely happen for you and your hubby I know! I used the ovulation kit for that price two years ago when we got pregnant. It definitely worked for us! I would recommend it. You can also use the happy face one that's a lot cheaper. My fertility specialist had me use it for the IUI to know when I ovualated. Tomorrow morning I go for my ultrasound to see how my follicles are growing. I am happy that the time is near for retrieval and transfer - probably sometime next week God willing. I will keep you all posted! Healing and Damajuana...how are those babies kicking? :) Sasha~

Hi all! Good luck KM williams, jasp and Sasha for next month!. KB try to trust your doctor if he says six months then you must trust him. I know it´s annoying but that´s what they are there for. I didn´t try the home ovulations kit as they don´t exist here, or at least I wasn´t told that it existed. What I used is the old method, counting the days, and enjoying the funny part of all the fibroid nightmare. Anyway I was planning to try with the evaplan after the third attempt but there she was. Yes ten weeks to go, hope everything goes ok as this seems to be the most difficult part of it all.

Thank you all for you input and words of encouragement. This is an email I wanted to share. To: YOU Date: TODAY From: GOD Subject: YOURSELF Reference: LIFE This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day. I love you. P.S. And, remember... If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now. Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!

KM, to answer your question, no we didn't use a fertility monitor. My friend let me borrow hers, but my hubby was opposed to using it, saying he just wanted "nature to take its course." Luckily, my cycles are very regular, and I normally had ovulation pain every month to let me know when I was ovulating, so we got pg the first time we tried. Literally. We only "did the do" one time during my fertile period. So I guess we lucked out. Same thing happened with the baby that we lost a year earlier. Thanks, ladies, for all of the good wishes! I have to admit, even though this pregnancy is rather textbook, my horrible miscarriage last year still haunts me, so sometimes its hard for me to keep positive thoughts flowing. But just knowing that we are being thought of and prayed for makes all the difference in the world. I will keep on praying for all of you as well. Stay positive!

Healing you are soo lucky or should I say blessed. LOL.... I tried for 1 year and 8 months to get pregnant. This month I was stressing the whole time I think I threw my body out of whack. Every little pain I mistook for ovulation. I kept checking and rechecking my ovulation calendar. Just for those who don't know I get crazy around that time (trying to stop though). Healing your husband is right just let nature take it's course and all should end well. I think one of the reason it took so long for me to fall pregnant is because I didn't check my ovulation calendar properly. My cycle time ranged from 28-34 days. However, I would always use the default day 28 which was wrong every month. So almost each month my husband and I would ttc to early. I know if I buy the ovulation tests I am going to stress myself out.... so I decided to try on my own, hopefully (keeping my fingers cross) no ovulation calendars, no tests, just making love when we want. God Bless to all those who are trying or tried this month. I know exactly how you feel. Also, a special prayer to those who are pregnant. You two Ms. Monet we haven't forgot about you and everyone else who has delivered. Joker where are you? It's been ages. We miss you!!!!

Hello, where is everyone? I hope all is well. I am terrible. I have the worst sore throat and my tonsils are swollen. Went to the dr. and he told me it's not strep. I am happy about that but sad because I ovulate on the 29th... however my ovulation calendar (if correct) says to start from the 25th to 30th of this month. (ovulation day is supposed to be the 29th). I am just going to leave it in God's hands. Safe and happy pregnancy to those who are pregnant and God's Blessings to those who are trying. If you put God first in everything you do you will never fail.

Hi everyone~ I wanted so badly to write last night but was so exhausted from the transfer and I think the valium had somehting to do with it too. Ended up not sleeping that well either. In any event though, 9 eggs were retrieved last week and 7 fertilized via our second IVf cycle. Yesterday we transfered. Tthe transfer went well! We transfered 7 embryos. The funny thing is that 6 went in and one obviously stayed back in the catheter. The embyologist instead of saying, "all clear" told us that one was still in the catheter so in we had to go again with a new catheter. Well, lo and behold, this little guy STILL did not want to come outt and we now had to change catheters again! My doctor said this rarely happens with the changing of one catheter to get the embryo out and twice is extremely uncommon! The doc and nurses and my husband and I all laughed at the whole thing! My doc then said that this will be the one that sticks and then the nurse added that this will be the one which we will get all the calls from the school about! Again, too funny! Well, we are just praying that 1 out of the 7 stick and survive God willing! If more, that's wonderful too but we have our hearts set on just one since I am 42 and the chances are so slim - 10%. My test date will be at 7:00 am on September 5th. Have a great day everyone! How is everyone else doing? Sasha~

Sasha, good luck and I will be praying for you. Congrats to everyone else who is pregnant. Kerrick is 7 months old today. I cannot believe how time has flown by. However, my monthly friend is now back and I am in worse pain than I ever was prior to the pregnancy. I am praying that the fibroids have not come back. Well hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend!

MsAnon - August 24

Hi ladies. Been kinda missing in action :) Some of you might remember my posting news of my pregnancy in May after having a myomectomy last July. I am 16 weeks today and so far so good :) I wanted to respond to KM Williams who asked about ovulation monitors etc. I was also thinking about getting something similar including that OV watch that Trista from The Bachelor supposedly used after months of trying. Anyways, my doctor discouraged me from spending so much money on ovulation monitors/kits that may or may not give you the right ovulation time. Her advice was this: Have intercourse every other day from Day 9 to Day 20 in your cycle. AND IT WORKED THE VERY FIRST MONTH WE TRIED IT!!! She said that intercourse from Day 9 to Day 20 ensures that you catch ovulation whether it comes a little early or a little late. She says unless something else is wrong, this method should work after several tries or at least within a year. For me, just having dates when I knew we were going to have intercourse was better than trying to monitor this and that... a little more relaxing. Infact sometimes those store ovulation kits never even turned positive for me. So this Day 9 to Day 20 thing can be put in use maybe in addition to whatever else you might be doing. Trying to conceieve is SUCH a trying time. I would check for your period almost every hour hoping it doesn't come :) Keep praying guys, it will TOTALLY happen!

KM Williams - August 24

MS. Annon that is great advice. I am so glad to hear from you and happy that all is well during your pregnancy. Where is the time going? I am feeling alot better today. My eye is not pink but I do wake up with it shut. I am taking it day by day. Husband said he is willing to try even though I am sick. Wish the best to all.
