(aka mbu) this is to paula: I hon how are things goin with you.. have you been back to the dr.. I still havent started af.. not too sure what to think tho.. I know what an ectopic pg feels like, so just in case I am keeping my eyes open for all the signs.. ( I had one back in 84) was not fun..I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers tho

Thank you Mary (aka MBU), I went back to take blood again on thursday. They are going to compare HCG levels or something like that. Dr doesn't seem to be that worried about ectopic pregnancy. She did a pelvic tuesday, said my cervix was closed and nothing else. I am going to call today to see if I can set up an ultrasound for next week. I need to know for sure one way or the other. I have lots of plans to make and so much going on in my life that worrying about this day in and day out is driving me insane. Thanks for the prayers and I will keep everybody informed.

MBU - I typed a message but it disappeared...anyways, my dr doesn't seem to be worried about an ectopic pregnancy. She did a pelvic exam on tuesday and said my cervix was closed but didn't tell whether she felt that my uterus was swollen or anything. Took more blood thursday to compare HCG levels or something like that. I am calling today to set up an ultrasound for next week. I will keep everybody informed.

to paula.. oh good.. sounds very promising.. I remember when I had the tubal pg.. the dr examined me all he had to do was touch the right side of my tummy and I bout flew off the table it hurt sooo bad.. It turned out I was 13 weeks pregnant in my right tube.. But now I am so scared about what the hell is goin on with me.. NO af.. ( or rather not when it was supposed to happen) 12 days early.. then it was real spotty.. then I a__sumed I would get my normal one on the 13th. but didnt.. so I am thinking I need to wait til the 2nd.. I took a hpt on the 15th.. it was neg.. so I dont know if I just did it too soon or what.. anyway.. sorry I dont mean to bother you or bore you with this.. I guess I had to vent alittle.. I am sooo glad things seem to be going ok for you.. Your not having any pain are you?? God I hope not.. anyway I will leave you alone.. gl and god bless you ( no I'm not a fanatic) lol

So does anyone know after how long tubes come untied( when you have filshie clips)? Did any one else get filshie clips on? Some say it takes 5 years and some say 10 or 11 years. Of course the doctor who did mine said that i would never get pregnant again, but i really do not believe him. Doctors any more a quacks!! You know your body more than anybody else.

I have been reading everyones emails the past week or so. Thought I would share my story. I had a tubal after my third boy was born (3 years ago). The past two months I have had 2 miscarriages. I am going to the doctor today to see what we can do about it. Ever since my tubes have been tied, I have gotten awful cysts on my ovaries, and other complications that are starting to annoy me. I have had it with the doctors just brushing you off when you are trying to get to the bottom of things. I am going to a female doctor now, so I will see how it works out. I was very young when I had my tubes tied and the younger you are (supposedly) the more likely they are to correct themselves. Also, if you have had a lot of scare tissue from previous births when they go to tie your tubes, that sometimes interferes with the healing process. I will post on Monday to give everyone an update. i had a tubal ligation in 2001 after my 3rd child, i am starting to feel symptoms of pregnancy. i dont believe they did anything but clamp them what is the chance of the clamp coming undone? i am worried but in a little way happy my youngest is 4 and middle 7 oldest 9 could it really happen?

Hey Mary - you aren't being a fanatic or bothersome. I am glad that I have a place like this with other ladies who have or are going through the same thing. I haven't had any pain but have been bleeding for a week. But now it has tapered off like a period, but it didn't come with cramps or severe bleeding like my normal periods. Again dr. didn't seem to be worried about it since there was no cramping or pain.

To Paula : thats a very good sign.. ( the no pain or cramps) and thank you for tell me I wasnt being annoying.. makes me feel better :) Let me know how the tests come out...

HOW CAN I GET TUBAL UNTIED

I had a tubal done in Sept. of 1997, three months after I turned 38. I have three sons, ages 17, 15 and 12. I will be 46 years old on June 26. My period is not late yet, BUT, I have felt alot of pregnant symptoms over the past week.....my b___sts are very swollen and they hurt alot; I am sleepy alot, urinating alot AND, I had unexplained weight gain, like 5 lbs. in the past week, which is not like me at all. I did a home preg. test about six days ago; it was negative, but I know I probably tested way too early. I am going to do another one in a few more days. Also I have been alternating between being more hungry than usual and being nauseous. When I had my tubal, the doctor told me there is a 1 in 500 chance of becoming pregnant afterwards, and that the chances INCREASE with the more number of years you go along. I am really starting to wonder now, especially after reading these posts. I can't remember what type of tubal I had (i.e., burned, cut, tied, etc.)

in April of 2001 I had the clips put on my tubes. I would like to have another baby, and right now my b___bs are more sore thatn they have ever been with my period. My stomach is tender, what are the chances I could be pregnant? Just wondering, I wanted to her from several of you to know how many of you have been or know somebody that has gotten pregnant after having this done? PLease reply ASAP

i had falope rings put on my tubes and have been showing signs but i took one home pregnancy test and one at the hospital both negative but i red in a medical website that the younger women have this procedure the higher the failure rate. I was 22 it will be 7 years in september that i had it done, has anyone had this done and got pregnant? also i red that the hulka clips also fail and that you can still have a chance with any of the procedures of getting pregnant that the tubes tend to grow back and if you have any pregnancy symptoms see your doctor right away i hope my answers helped and if anyone can help me i would appreciate it!

by the way 100 women get pregnant a year on the hulka clip and the falope rings. that is why your doctor tell you a 5 to 10 year garantee if you were under 30 your chances of getting pregnant are greater because when you are young your more fertile and if you have a man that is also fertile that helps the chances im not saying that you can get pregnant im not saying i could get pregnant but that is what i read and the precentage of a failed falope rings is 32 percent and the clip is not any different.

hi i had a tubal ligation done in feb 05 i all ready have 4 girls thire ages are 5,4,2 and 9 mths. yet i am pregnant again with triplets can anyone give me advice?
