I had a tubal ligation in may of 2003 after my last son was born. I am now 5 weeks late, I have always been as regular as can be. I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests both of wich were negative. I am also having a lot of symptoms of pregnancy. I am the mother of 3 wonderful boys. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do.

Have a test as soon as possible in case of ectopic pregnancy. Good luck.

I have four children, and had my tubes tied after my last child who was born 7 months ago. I am a week late. Could I really be pregnant? Keep in mind, the only time in my life that my period has been late was with each pregnancy

I am 27 yrs old with 2 children ages 3 and 8, my tubes where cut and cauterized three years ago after pregnancy. Was supposed to have my period 2 weeks ago, took an EPT test twice so far both neg. But last couple of days have had light lactation, and b___st tenderness, and a sligh pain in my left side above pelvic bone. could I be pregnant?

I had a tubal done around nine years ago, and I am pregnant. This has made twice that I have gotten since. Is there anyway possible that I can go through this pregnancy and have this baby, I really want to keep it.

I am going to the dr in about an hour and find out if I may be pregnant. My husband an I have talked about it and he says that if we are pregnant he will be the happiest man on earth, and also if we are not pregnant he will be relieved as hell. I just want to thank everyone for thier input. I didn't know that so many of you women have also gotten pregnant after the TL. My husband met me when I was three weeks postpartum with my last one and I had just had my TL. He is the best daddy that my 3 have aver had, and I think what I am trying to say is that if We are PG. I will be the happiest woman on earth to give my hubby a baby of his own also. Thank you for all of your support ladies I will let you know how it goes. I guess when the good lord says you need to have another one there is nothing on earth that will keep you from getting PG even with a TL. Thanks so much ladies

i had a tubal done 9 yrs ago this has made the 2nd time i have gotten pregnant is there any way i can keep this baby

To Christy S. : Were you able to have the other baby you got pregnant with? If you are pregnant then there is no reason in the world that you would not be able to have a healthy baby. The hard part is the sperm reaching the egg in the tube and that is already done so from here on out it should go just as a normal pregnancy. Basically if the fertilized egg implants into the uterus then you can carry the baby like any other. I have to say I wish I could be in a situation like you....I would love another baby. I'll just pray that God blesses me with one but if not then it is His will. But good luck to you and please keep us updated! I'll pray for you.... Lisa

Hi.. Tubes tide march 21st...what are the odds. That is the same day and year I had my tubes tide. My baby was born may 21st by c-section... I guess I'm just worried about the whole situation. It's all I can think about.

I need help myself. I got a tubal ligation in Sept. of last year. I think the clips. But now I have felt this sharp pain in the right side of my pelvis and light spotting along with nausea and moodiness. I got my period this month but I got it with my youngest as well and was still pregnant, I have felt little flutters in my belly on that side, like a b___terflies wings and after I eat it gets really hard. I took two test and the results were both invalid. Nothing showed in the control window. Anyone got any suggestions on what is wrong with me????

I've heard of alot of people getting pregnant after a tubal, i think i am or at least i feel like it.If i am i am truley blessed because i had them tied when i was 22, reversal at 25 when i remarried and tied again 4 yrs ago when i had my 4th boy. I figured after 4 boys i just wasn't meant to have a girl, but i'm starting to hope otherwise. I won't know till my drs. apt on mon. april 3.

hi, I think I am jumping the gun here. But, I have 4 children(all 4 in 6 yrs), had terrible pregnancies, nearly died with the last one, and all 4 of my children have chronic health problems, with the younger 3 being the sickest. So, I had my tubes tied the morning after my 4th child was born. He will be 4 on April 22nd. I usually start around the 22-25 of the month, and it isnt here yet. I thought maybe the previous month being a short one(Feb), maybe that is it. But I dont know if that would account for this much late. I thought I was just having major PMS, b/c I have been nonstop crying for 2 weeks. The last couple days I just cant really stand to eat. It would be ok to be pos, but I dont want to get my hopes up. MY tubes were tied, burnt, cut, and clamped---my dr actually woke me during surgery to show me how much of the tubes he took out. I cant see this happening. But, my sister had her tubes burnt and she wound up with another baby. Part of me is itching to go buy a HPT, but the other part keeps saying it cant possibly happen, just keep waiting. Then again, if I could possibly have an ectopic pg, then I need to know right away. Also, my lower right side has been hurting, and I thought maybe an ovarian cyst,since I have had those before. I just dont know what to think.

vk- i would definately take a hpt . i ended up starting mine a week a and a half later and the dr took a blood test and said we'll just chalk it up to your age. I've never had a dr tell me that all my symptoms is becauseof my age. you shouldn't be having any painsunless you would be farther along than a few weeks. i hope the best for you. let me know what you find out. if it happen to your sis it could easiely happen to you.

I have no idea what is going on.I started, it seemed normal, then stopped, started, stopped, started, still with the cramping. still with the pain. smells are bugging me. this morning I started puking, though I dont feel sick, like the flu, at all, just puking. I feel terrible, and very tired.
