I really don't know how soon you can get pregnant after your tube are tied.

Christy: How far since you had your tubes tied? I've had my 2yrs. And I feel the symptoms of being pregnant. I just got pains on my lower back and cramp like pains in front. I'm very sleepy, I drink lots of water and go pee often. I don't really want another baby. But like they say your not the one with the last word!

Pamela, sorry to hear u not pregnant. But keep trying. And save up big so you can get the op done. Bets of luck..

Just an update... I miscarried Saturday morning. Maybe for the best, because the doctor told me I would most likely have had to terminate due to health reasons. Thanks to everybody who responded and best of luck to you all!

This is to Brat1975: I just want to say sorry for your loss. It is always hard when you get that close. One thing that may make you feel a little better is that if you miscarried that means that the egg was fertilized in the uterus which also means that at least one of your tubes has become unblocked. If your tubes were still blocked off then it would've been an ectopic pregnancy. So maybe that means that there is still hope for you to get pregnant again and have another baby. The same thing happened to me last year....I was 10 days late on my period and had a positive test...a few days later it was negative. I then started to bleed and found out I had a miscarriage. The doctor told me that the only way that could have happened is that the egg implanted into the uterus but just traveled too fast through the tube and so I lost it. But hey just keep your hopes up! Anything is possible and if it is in God's plan it will happen...take care.

Just to let everyone know.....I have been to the doctor lately. I have cervical cancer, but it is non invasive is what they found out from the Cone Biopsy that I had just had done. They do the cone biopsy to make sure you don't have cancer that is going through other sorts of your body. The bad stuff, that you have to do radiation treatments and such. I was very excited to hear that. They are however going to take out my Uterus and Cervix. I am not really upset about it, rather excited. I have two children already which are a handful and already had a tubal done for other medical reasons. I did however find out that most cases of cervical cancer is a__sociated with a virus called HPV. There is general not signs or symptoms. It is s_xually transmitted... oh there is more. There are not any valid test for men as of right now. So the can unknowingly have s_x with women and pa__s it around. Also in most women it can go undetected! Crazy....1 in 4 people have this...1.42 million people get a new string of it per year....and there are 150 different strings of the HPV virus......wow....that is a lot to take in....trust me. This doesn't mean any harm to men, but in women it is the number one cause for cervical cancer! They key is after you find out you have this is finding someone, unless you are already taken, who is grown up enough to realize it doesn't mean you are damaged goods. Because you can't get rid of it, there is no cure, yet. The good news is that I found someone just like that. His name is Brandon and he is the greatest man I have ever met. I filled him in on all this and his repsonse was..."we'll take it one day at a time. if i like you that much, then nothing else really matters, we will just have it together." Seriously I melted. Only a person with a true heart talks like that. So guess I am just gonna have to keep him, can't find anything wrong with him, so might was well accept things for what they are. I hope this helps anyone. I am not sure if it will. But don't give up hope on health or love, pray and sometimes you are sent an angel. Angels come in many different shapes and forms. Brat i am sooo sry for your loss. My heart and prayers to you and yours, hun. Joey thank you for all that info, women need to know about stuff like this. I was reading a dr.'s site this morn and he claims that you can't get pregnant unless you have a reversal and if your over 35 yrs old its harder but if your over 41 its rare and almost impossble after the reversal to get pregnant. Then he told it would probably cost 10,000$ to get the reversal. Why do dr.'s still insist that TL is "permanent"? After reading this thread i think it's more likely then they say.

Pamela I think it is much more possible than doctors say. I first posted here on march 1 as I had just found out I was pregnant. I had my tubes clamped in sept 2005 and got pregnant 3 months later. I was 41 at the time. I had my baby 5 weeks ago and she is gorgeous. I also had my tubes cut and burnt so hopefully that should be permanent. I am happy that it failed though but am too old for any more babies now.

i am so glad i found this place I dont feel so stupid or alone i had my tubes tied and burnt 3 years ago after my sec child and i started having prego symtoms so i took a test first pee in the morning it came up positive but a very faint so i waited and took one a few days later it came up neg.. but my symptoms have gotten worse my b___st r very tender, nauseous, i havent yet been to the doct... im just not sure what my chances r of being preg... i am very suprised at the # of women who r in the same boat any feed back will be great and good luck to all

i had clips put on in 1991 2 years later i got pregs but lost it then 6 years later got pregs again lost that then again 8 months ago lost that so yes you can get pregs after

For the past 3 to 4 weeks I have been experiencing b___st tenderness, nasuea, headaches, dizziness, and abdominal pain on my right side. I don't think I'm pregnant because I got my tubes tied 15 months ago after I had my last child. I know that there is a small chance that I can get pregnant, but I still don't think so. Also, lately I noticed that I have what I think is milk in my b___st. I read an article online where a woman was still lactating after for years even though she only b___stfed for 3 months. Because of this I am not alarmed, but with all of these symptoms--I can't but wonder. I welcome any insight!!!

I had a tubal in 2003. I didn't think I could get pregnant again. After two years I finally found someone I really like and we have obviously consummated the relationship (Only recently). I didn't think I had to worry about being pregnant so protection wasn't an issue. I want more kids, I'm still in my early thirties and I want more...but I wanted it to be planned...I know...it typically never is, but I'm going to school, working, raising two children and I'm feeling some of the symptoms again...I'm praying I only have the flu...but i've been through this before so I know the difference. Any support out there?

Hi, have'nt been in for age's. I was 3 day's late but I got it today. Had my tube's done in 2000, but had the left 1 taken off in 2001. My b___b's have been very sore for about 2 to 3 week's, going to the loo a bit more. But my period is light, when it's all was heavy the first day or 2. Will wait and see if it get's heavy over the next day or 2. JUst wondering if I could still be pregnant or not..

For those of you ladies suffering from endometreosis, I would encourage you to research the internet on Natural Progesterone. It completely stopped my break-through bleeding and is supposed to be very beneficial in cases of endometreosis, PMS, irregular periods, migraines, and a host of other things that seem to plague us women. I used Progestelle, which is simply progesterone mixed with coconut oil.

i had a c-section 5 months ago my tubes were burned during the process. i am 16 days late for my period. i am having the pregnant feeling. what is it? yes or no!!! am i pregnant?

i have a 5 year old boy and a 4 year old boy, i hade my tubes burned a couple months after my second. i got a divorce a couple years later and have been with someone else for almost 2 years , i took a hpt this morning and it was positive i need help.. i do want a nother baby, im ust so scared about it being eptopic, that would be very tramatic for me, what should i do????
