Crystal~ I just went through my 3rd miscarriage so I know this pregnancy thing can be so hard. Just remember that whatever happens is meant to happen. When you are meant to have a baby....you will. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. If God bring you to it...he will bring you through it!!! Keep the faith!!!!!!! Best of luck to you!!!

Hi I went in today for first visit thinking I was 7w1d and u/s said 6w1d. The Dr did my u/s and said hr low at 109. I was worried b4 I went now I am even more worried! She said normal is 120. My Mom did some research and saw that b/t 90-110 is norm for 6wks. If anyone has anything comforting that would be great at this point. Thank you!

Snuuygurl...I would try not to worry. My dr said 110 (and I was at 5w5d with twins...hr 94 and 96) At my second u/s 2 weeks later they were at 179 and 164. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life!! I read all kinds of stuff on "low hr" and 6 weeks is soooooo early! I am now 4 mos preg and it is going very well! When do you go in again??

Just a quick update...I posted first on the 15th....I am now 4 months pregnant with twins and we have even heard the hbs. All seems to be going well. Miracles do happen!!

Kris - I am so happy for you. I always like to hear a happy outcome. I went through the same situation back in June and unfortunatley the baby didnt make it. I pop in here every now and then to check what is going on because I found this place to be so supportive. We are now trying again and hopefully I will be pregnant again soon!

Mine went from 77 at 5 wks 5 days (at that point I thought I was 6 wks) to 136 at 7 wks. I am now 8 wks 4 days as of today. I think this should hopefully give you hope, but I have to say, I am still a nervous wreck thinking its not high enough...

Hi, I had a misscarriage in May of this year and I went in for my appt/us today and they said they couldn't find a heartbeat on this pregnancy. Like some of you that I've been reading about , I am still having pregnancy symptoms, unlike the last one where I was bleeding and having a lot of clotting, and had one us with extremely low hr, low hcg, and then a final us with no hr. This pregnancy I felt fine and then all of the sudden I go in to my appointment and they tell me that my baby has no hr. I am 8-9 wks. I told the dr. I wanted to wait a week, do a repeat ultrasound, and also wait to see if I actually bleed. Has anyone out there ever had the experience of having a misscarriage with no s/s prior to the ultrasound?

Hi, I have read this entire message board and I am starting to think my fears might come true. I went in for my first ultra sound two days ago thinking I was 7 weeks 1 day but the doc said I looked more like 6 weeks. She said everything looks great but the heart beat was only 67 and should have been way higher. She said at 7 weeks it should be closer to 120 but even if I miscalculated and I am really 6 weeks 67 is still super low. This is my first pregnancy and I am 27. I don't go back until next Tuesday and I just can't stand the waiting. Does it sill have a heart beat??? I still feel nauseous in the monrings so I guess that is good. No bleeding so I know that is good. I didn't realize how common this way until I found this site. Please tell me there is hope.

I had my first u/s on Friday at 6w, 6 days. This is my first pregnancy at age 27. The baby measured perfect size and everything was in the right place. We saw the tiny flicker of the heartbeat. The tech had trouble measuring the heartrate. She ended up calling in 2 extra techs to help her. They came up with everything from 50-102 bpm. Of course this is low! I am going for a repeat 1 week from the first hoping the rate increases. The 3rd lady who came in was 19 weeks pregnant, and said the same thing happened to her with the early u/s, but she and baby are fine now. Did anyone else get such a range in the readings? I'm trying to stick with the hope that since they had such a hard time, and the bpm of 50-102 are such a big range, that they can't be accurate.

Today I went for my 5th us. I am measuring 7 wks. The heart rate is only 75 bpm. My High risk Ob says the odds are against me now. He said some small cases happen where the baby come thorugh this, but most women with under 90-100 bpm end in miscarriage. I am sick. I just want to know. I go one week from today to see what happens. I think this is pure torture. It is soooo unfair. I just want to know. I can accept whatever the outcome is but this is enough of a waiting game.

Hi, I went into the E.R. on Sept. 3rd with heavy bleeding. They did an ultrasound the heartbeat was 98 bpm. I was told it could go either way. I went back in Sept 6th to find out I had lost the baby. It can go either way it did not work out for us. Hope all goes well for everyone going through this.

We lost our baby too. We went back for a second u/s on 9/16 and there was no heartbeat, and the baby was slightly smaller than the week before. I also saw a specialist on 9/20 to confirm the loss of the baby. I am having a D&C tomorrow. I haven't had any cramping or bleeding, and I just want to move on from this pregnancy. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time.

I wanted to thankk everyone for posting on this thread. I am new to this and read all your stories today. I am so sorry for your losses and happy for your good news. I myself had a D&C Aug 16. It was just a month and a half after I found out I was pregnant. I was devistated. It was my second pregnancy. My first was a complete sucess. In fact it went off without a hitch, unless you count being in labor for 42 hours a hitch. I am NOT complaining, because I now know what it feels like not ot be labor. My story: I had my daughter Aug of 04. Found of July of 05 I was preg again. We weren't trying, in fact I was on the pill and still nursing. I had stoped nursing two days before I found out I was preg. Aug 8 was my first ob appointment. I had been to my reg dr before to confirm pregnancy and get a new prenatal vitamim script. I had just stoped taking them when I stoped nursing my daughter. Aug 8 everything was fine. I started spotting, very, very lightly only when I wiped on Aug 12. Aug 15, I had an ultrasound. There was my baby with no heartbeat. My husband said it liked liek a little peanut with arms and legs. I was about 10 weeks. We did the D&C the next day. I was devistated. I cryed for hours after I found out. Then I cryed before they put me out for the procedure. Afterwards I felt a lot better. Since then I have had up and down days. Some days I am fine, others all I want to do is cry. Reading all your stories has made me feel 100% better. I physically recovered from the D&C by that same night. Emotionaly, is another matter. You all have helped. I thank all you who regularly post on this thread. Keep it up. I love to hear how things are goign with everyone. THis past Sunday, I started my first period since my D&C. Even though we weren't trying for the one we lost, we are going to try right away for another. My doctor even stated that he expected to see me pregnant agian before the end of the year. He was so very suportive and kind through the whole thing. Sometimes I want to second guess my decison for the D&C. I wasn't spotting much, the dr was suprised at how little I was spotting. Sometimes I think, maybe he was wrong and they jsut couldn't find the heartbeat. But then I remember he said my cervix was already 4cm diliated when he went to do the D&C. In all I am gald we had it done. It gave me closure and I didn't have to waiut God knows how ling to pa__s it on my own. Plus now it is over and I can start over agian. Please update me on all your cases. I will pray for all of you. God Bless

Hi, It was my 4th pregnancy following three normal healthy babies. I was 7 weeks. The doctor told me it could go either way. I hope it all works out for you.
