C Section Infection

I had my baby via emergency c-section 2 weeks ago, a week later my incision opened with infection. I had no warning signs other than a temp the night before. My incision never looked like it was infected, even the doctor said so. I ended up back in surgery to remove the bad tissue and now have a wound vac for the next 3 months. I can't lift anything heavier than the baby or drive which makes it impossible to bring my 1 year old home from grandmas. I could pick up my 5 year old cause I don't have to lift him but he helps out with his brother. I miss them so much and I can't even drive over to see them and it breaks my heart, I am getting depressed and I feel like I am blaming my new daughter even though I know that this is in no way her fault. I just find myself getting so irritated with her and I hate myself for it. She is beautiful and not hard to care for at all, but I just get so frustrated. All I want to do is sleep, I am losing weight cause I have no appet_te and I want to cry half the time. I have a nurse coming 3 days a week to change the sponges and the adhesive really hurts to take off. And to top it off I have a yeast infection between by belly and thighs as I am over weight and it is close to my incision. I hate this whole situation and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Has any one else ever experienced this? If so please share with me and let me know that I am not alone.

That's very hard, especially after you keep telling yourself that you just have to get through the pregnancy, and then you'll feel better. Now, you feel worse than ever, and you weren't prepared for that. Please take care, and if you've got some post-partum depression setting in (and who wouldn't?) take to the nurse or you doctor about it. There are ways to help with that!
