I have had 3 m/c in 9 months. I waited TTC for months after each because I wanted to make sure my body recovered. I am 32 and I am now considering IVF. Please keep in mind that I have been able to get pregnant each time I have tried, the first time. All of my tests came back normal from my except I had a small septum and fibroids which were removed after my second m/c. On the third pregnancy, I was put on 81mg of Baby Asprin, Progesterone, Metanx and Prenatal Vitamins. I did not start the progesterone suppositories until the 15th DPO. I am seriously considering IVF as my Dr claims that it is the most popular treatment for people with unexplained Recurrent Pregnancy Loss. Does anyone have any personal storied they can share about this? Is it successful process for a candidate like me or not?

I thought IVF was more for people who had troubles conceiving, not for those who had difficulty carrying children. I had 4 mc before having my daughter and didn't consider IVF. I had genetic testing, chromosomal testing, and a whole work-up to determine why I wasn't carrying. If you're not finding any answers, maybe you can try to find answers elsewhere through another doctor.
Blood clotting conditions play a large part in recurrent pregnancy loss. My Dr. told me it is one of the first thing he checks for when a woman has multiple m/c.
There are answers out there... it may just take a long time to find them but it will be worth it when something finally works. I had 4 m/c in 4 years, 1 healthy daughter, and another m/c after her birth, but am TTC right now...
good luck.

Thank you so much for your reply! I am actually going to a fertility specialist. About 25% of her clients suffer from Recurrent Pregnancy Loss. She claims that a larger percentage of people that suffer from RPL do IVF than people who cannot conceive at all. She says it's the best option because they get to chose eggs that have the proper chromosome make-up. So, they get to chose quality eggs and quality sperm. Also, I believe they use multiple eggs, hoping that one survives. To be honest, I did not ask a whole lot about the solution because we wanted to try to conceive and carry this one to term on our own since I just had my uterus "cleaned" up and I was hoping it would increase blood supply. I believe I have received all the typical tests out there to test for clotting, chromosome abnormalities, immune issues etc. Did yours end up being blood clotting conditions? If so, what test yielded your discovery? It is so inspiring to hear about your daughter!!!! Do you mind me asking how old you are and how old you were when you had her? Lots of baby dust to you!!!
