Tracy, what wonderful news!!!! I hope we are all so lucky very shortly. I will email my address to Amy's addr, I am set up for Microsoft messenger but I will figure out how to set up yahoo messenger too. I found out the time difference between me and Amy in Texas is about 15 hours and Kristy in NY is about 14 hours. So unless you ladies are up early (doing a test perhaps? lol) we mightn't be on at the same time, but that doesn't mean we can't share emails!! Friday/Sat was 28 days since my d and c, no news yet!!! I did a test last Tues which was negative. This was about 25 days after my d and c. I think it is extremely unlikely pg has occurred, given that we haven't been trying, but who knows??? Like I said in an earlier post, if nothing has happened on the af front by the time I get back from Queensland, I will be going to the doctor to see if I can do something to bring it on!! in the meantime, bring on the sun and fun!!! I have been having twinges now and then and feeling "wet" (sorry if too much info) every couple of days, and keep convincing myself that I am ovulating/af happening/something's happening/nothing's happening, the mind plays funny tricks on us in this situation doesn't it? Like I am leaping on every twinge and a___lysing it to the nth degree. Amy I think it was you who coined the phrase earlier "naivete stripped away", what a brilliant summation of how we are all feeling and will feel when we get pg again. Unfortunately we have had an experience that is so horrible and heartwrenching, it would be lovely to go back to being that innocent and hopeful as before our miscarriage/s, but that won't happen. I am convincing myself that this happened for a reason, but that reason may not be revealed to us for a long time or ever.....I know how strong I am now and how much I am loved, I mean I knew this before but this has been a test that my husband has pa__sed with flying colours. Keep in touch, and I will be sending my email address to you Amy.....lots of baby dust to all....Katharine in Australia...

hi, i was told 2-4weeks, question does anyone have any positive thoughts on dealing with a miscarriage, I feel very depressed and desperate

Melissa - June 6

Marce, hey girl, just remember it was for a reason, and nothing you did caused it. the best part is you still get to try again, there will be another chance to get excited about a positive test. it's been a month since mine at 7 weeks. it's hard to think that something was alive, and now it's gone, but there is something better waiting for you later on. stay on the happy side, and keep thinking you still have a chance. it isn't the end of the world. these girls are the best thing around. hope it helps...Melissa

I had a D&C last friday and I have some abdominal cramping from it. Its not bad ,but I was wondering if its normal. I want to try and get pregnant in September. I had a cesarean 2 years before this miscarriage and was reading on the internet that if you had a cesarean u have an increased risk of future miscarriage. Anyone heard of this ? I guess Im still looking for answers as why this happened and I might not ever find out. Im so happy for those of you who are pregnant again. It gives me hope that maybe I can become pregnant again too.

Tara - June 6

I have so many questions ! I had to switch doctors after my miscarriage because the first one gave me a drug to start miscarriage and I nearly died . I lost a lot of blood and had to have an emergency D&C to stop the bleeding. After all that I still want a chance to be pregnant again. I always dreamed of having 3-4 children, all I ever wanted to be is a good mommy. I was wondering if any of you had previous full term pregnancies (I had two) and ended up having a miscarriage after. My new doctor said that they wouldent do any test yet because Ive already had two healthy babies. I have no problems getting pregnant. Its weird how before I thought I knew my body and now Im scared of not being able to have another baby.

Coreene - June 6

Tara I have had 2 full term pregnancies, and I had a miscarriage on may 12th. I was told I could try right away to get pregnant again. I did have a natural miscarriage though. I had an iud taken out one month prior to my miscarriage, but the docs told me that had nothing to do with it. I took an early pregnancy test today and got a faint positive, so I will test again this weekend. I think most miscarriages happen because there was something wrong with the baby. Hang in there, I am sure next time you will have another healthy baby. :)

Marce--I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope things get easier for you real soon. Some of the ladies from this site have expressed an interest in chatting with each other through email and messenger. You are more than welcome to join in. They are all wonderful and very supportive. The basic email address we email to is: loveandbabydust@yahoo.com. From there I can get you in touch with our personal email addresses. Please feel free to contact us! Tara--It's great to hear from you again. Research is confusing. Seems to me like most anything other than a normal pregnancy gives them reason to say we will have increased risk for mc. They say the same thing about Clomid, yet many people are very successful without mc. Who knows! Coreene--CONGRATS MOMMY!! I know you have to be happy, but worried all together. I'm glad to hear yet another person with good news! I went to the doctor today to see if the Clomid is working and whether I will ovulate or not. It was successful!! It should occur in the next day or two, so keep your fingers crossed! To all the Ladies: Feel free to email the address: loveandbabydust@yahoo.com. We already have 3 ladies that have exchanged personal email addresses. What a great way to keep in touch and have additional support!! Good luck to all and lots of love and baby dust!! Amy I m/c on May 12th. I then ovulated on the 27th of May. I am 10 days past ovulation. I did get a faint positive today by using the first response early pregnancy test. I am a little apprehensive about it; I just don’t want to get my hopes up again, even though all the signs point to me being pregnant. I know the chances are low for another miscarriage, but there is still a chance of it recurring. Amy (from Texas) I think that email you have set up is great. I have read the post on this site and they really helped me. I hope everyone soon has that positive pregnancy test. Amy I will be praying for you, just do that baby dance and I am sure you’ll be expecting in no time. Keep us posted. Take Care and Baby Dust to everyone! :)

Hi ladies, I have been reading your stories... It is so wonderful to know that I am not the only one going thru all these feelings... I m/c on 2/25 w/ my 2nd pg. My son is 21 months old. We are ttc this month. I know ovulation is supposed to happen 14 days after your 1st day of af. It has not been 14 days yet (I would say 10 days) but I feel the v____al discharge. I am sorry to be so graphic. Does this mean that I am ovulating. My cycle is normal 28-30 days long. Do we ttc for 7 days straight? I am so confused... I need your wisdom and advise...thank you so much and good luck to everybody!

Amy - June 7

Liza--I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My doctor also says that ovulation normally occurs on day 14 or around that day. I have heard varying ideas on what to do when ttc. One doctor says every other day starting around day 10 and do that for a week. Another doctor says to do two days on and one day off, making sure to have relations the day you ovulate. Signs and symptoms vary from person to person. I tend to have a nagging pain on the side that releases the egg. I also have increased discharge and an increase libido. I also tend to bloat. I wish you all the luck!! Amy in Texas

To Amy- Thank you so much for your advise...let's see what happens... Keep us posted w/ the updates... To Tara, my first pg with my son was a c-section (he was 9lbs and 5oz)...my second pg was a blightem ovum, so maybe your research is sound...I don't know sometimes the more you read the more scared and confused you can became... baby dust to all of you...

Clare - June 7

Hello all, I have had to go to drs this morning because am still bleeding on and off even though it is 7 weeks since m/c my dr is sending me for a scan just to check... She has told me not to ttc until I know what is happening which is really frustrating and upsetting. We did the baby dance all around the time I think i O'd which was on June 4th. I guess the bleeding has put a stop to any chance I had of conceiving this month.... Anyone else had similar problems ? Amy, I like the idea of exchanging e-mails but am not so good at these computer type things so will be asking my dh for advice. ( We are going away camping for a few days for a change of scenery so I wont be posting for a short while) Please someone reply if you get the chance, I am starting to feel very alone with all of this ..................... take care baby dust for each one of you......Clare x

Amy - June 7

Clare--I know it's horrible waiting, but I think the best thing to do is play the waiting game and if you don't get your actual af, then test. You are more than welcome to email the account we set up (loveandbabydust@yahoo.com). Four of us are already exchanging emails and chatting online. I know I have really enjoyed talking to these ladies. They really help pick your spirits up. Good luck with your doctor and please keep us posted!! Love and baby dust to all! Amy in Texas

Candace Vanderveen - June 9

I am so happy that I am not the only one asking this question. I had a miscarriage about 11 days ago and the dr said we could start trying right away again so I guess I will just follow as if I just had my period then. Good luck to all of you.
