Hi girls, first of all I would like to say to flowerchild that You should go to docs and ask them for some more blood work as to me it sounds as if your pregnant again.:) I had my D & C done on 13th december had the normal bleed from it, then had my af on 14 January, So the gap of D & C to first af was 33 days. Normally I have a 28 day cycle, I been using opk's and had a positive on 30th and 31st of january and still waiting for af to arrive. I was wondering if My cycyle is now going to be a 33day cycle or will it come back to the same as I have always normally had which is 28 days. its so confusing I dont know what to think. Please can anyone suggest anything to me. Thanks and babyust to all.

Hi flowerchild I am sad to hear what you experienced. I would talk to my doc, becuase I doubt that HCG would remain that long. BTW: When you had your MC what were your symptoms. Please let me know

Rachel, I have no idea, my af has always been irregular, so I have no advice.....Kay, I never had any symptoms, except an orange-ish discharge which i ignored anyway and found out later it was a symptom, I went to my 15 week check up and the dr didnt even feel a uterus above my pubic bone because it had stopped growing at 11 weeks, my body didn't want to acknowledge (or my mind) that something was wrong, but as soon as the d and c was scheduled, i started bleeding, so i think somewhere i knew something was wrong but i was in denial, this time i am now telling myself my symptoms are in my head. But i checked CP this morning and it was so i i could barely reach the bottom and it seemed soft so i dont know, my appt has been moved to tomorrow at 1 pm, i will keep you posted. Courtney

it is really scary to think about it. I was one of the main people on this bard before it slowed down. well a few months ago I had an MC and now I am pregnant again and very scared because I am having all sorts of cramps and discomforts and not really sure what to think about it. TTYL

Kay, don't worry too much (this from someone who overa___lizes everything), I know how bad we want babies and want sticky babies, but it does no good to worry because even though it sucks, if the baby is going to miscarry, there really isn't anything anyone can do about it, on the bright side, if there are subsequent miscarriages, the dr will test for genetic problems. The issue is I have heard that having 2 or more in a row is rare and i have heard that the risk goes up, so what is to be believed?

HI again thanks for your response, I had hubby to check cervix earlier and it was very high and soft, what ever this means? I done a test also today and it was bfn ( how guting ) :( maybe its too early yet to show, at least thats what i am hoping anyway. Im due for my period anyday now as normally my cycle is between 26 and 28 days but have no symtoms at all that its going to arrive. I normally have heavy bruised feeling b___bs a week before af is due and this time I have nothing. So at the moment my head is in the clouds in not knowing whats going on with my body. Oh I have got little cramps in my ovary on and off but have had this ever since ovulation. Any answers ????? good luck to all.

rachel1, high and soft cervix means you may be getting ready to ovulate. Are you sure you ovulated already? Mine gets high and soft when I'm about to see cm. It is supposed to be firm, rather like the tip of your nose, and low when you are between ovulation and period and between period and ovulation. Mine feels hard when pregnant. I check my cervix texture and position every day so I have an idea of what changes it's going through. Checking randomly and in different positions (lying down versus sitting) isn't as helpful for me. Make sense? Helpful? Good luck.

Hi susan w, thanks for your response. Yes I am positive I have ovulated, which was on the 30th and 31st of january, i used opk's which showed positive. Im due for my af anytime now, and I have read that your cervix can be high and soft if pregnant, so i still dont know what to think. Omg give me strength lol. I just have to give it another few days to see if af comes and if not take another test. How are you? Pregnant? trying? Keep in touch. baby dust to you.

Hello ladies, i am surprised people are actually responding......I still am no closer to finding out about hcg except that most say after a natural miscarriage it could take a couple months and for D&C it could be weeks and other sites say even after you have given birth at full term it only takes 6 weeks. I guess i'll find out tomorrow right? maybe my dr will just give ma a u/s to check, who knows. Courtney

i totally forgot about this site until ppl started posting here. I posted once I believe when I miscarried back in Oct. We are back ttc again. I have had 3 Afs since the miscarrige so Dh and I are back to ttc. I am starting to temp and use those ovulation strips this month. My Af never really regulated out after the miscarriage so I need all the help I can get to tell me when I am or going to ovulate. to all of you who maybe pg or ttc again BABY DUST!!

rachel1. . . The waiting is the hard part. Seems like all reproduction is is waiting! . . . I had a m/c on the 15th of Jan, and I wasn't planning to ttc again just now because the loss took a terrible emotional toll on me; I'm just now starting to have mostly good days. But we had an oops a few days ago, and I found I was ovulating the next day, so I'm waiting to see if AF comes when I think it will. If not, I'll be testing somewhere around the 20th . . . The softening of the cervix usually happens around 6 weeks, just so you know . . . . Don't make yourself crazy waiting a few more days :) I went nuts last time and tested like 6 times, most too early just because I couldn't control myself! LOL Good luck :)

Hi i had my appt today, i went in after holding myself for 2 hrs and urine test was negative so they did a blood test, i wont know results til monday. half an hr after my appt, i stopped at dollar general and bought an hpt. Surprise surprise--BFP. I even had the mailman and my sister confirm it. So am i supposed to believe i JUST HAPPENED to randomly buy about 13 defective tests? In a week, or should i safely be confident the BT will be positive? Courtney

I am in the waiting mode its been 4 weeks and 2 days since my miscarriage.I have a 31 days cycle so I am expecting my period on 11th feb.I am very nervous and I am not ttc for a couple of cycles .I am praying that af visits soon now!!!
