I was about 5 weeks pregnant. If I had not taken the pregnancy test I would have thought I was having a period. I was able to miscarry natural. I have to say this to because it is part of my history, I also had a stillborn son in Aug 2004. I was 33 weeks pregnant. I do praise the Lord that I have a healthy 2 1/2 year old daughter. I just itching for another one. I am just kind of nervous wondering why I haven't started my period yet.

Kiren do not worry. I had my period induced and it was painful but fine. my doc told me that my body went into shock and belived that I was still pregnant. weird uh. you will be fine. keep me updated. kay

Mpena, Sorry for your loss. I think we are in the same boat. I m/c my first baby on 3rd June 05 at 10 weeks. I am waiting for period but I havent yet started. I am very worried and wondering what I should do to force it. Dr said I should try after 2-3 cycles but I am feeling very fine to try after 1st cycle. I have heard that AF usually show up after 4-8 weeks after D&C. I fear I might take long to conceive again. Baby dust to everyone

I had a m/c June 5 while on vacation. It was a blited ovum at 5 weeks. I am stilling trying to get over the loss my DH is already over it and can not understand why I still start crying over it for no apparent reason. We got pg on the first try and were so excited it was a huge disappointment and ruined our vacation. I have not started my period and am going crazy. I have taken 2 hpt and both were negative. Should I be worried? It seems to me that almost everyone went back to normal cycle. I am not sure really what my normal pill free cylce is but I feel like I should have started already. Any words of wisdom?

All of you dear ladies, I'm so sorry for you losses! MPena..I too am still waiting for my period to show...It's been 56 days for me...I was a little further along, and I thought that was why my levels were taking so much longer to come down. I still am showing a positive HPT, but I am definitly not pg. My levels last Tuesday were 990...Still waiting, and very frustrated! Dak, I've read that others were given somehting to force AF to show...what were you considering doing to get it here? Just curious. I think we are going to try right away again too. I was told to wait one cycle, but that was just so it would be easier to date the pg if we got pg right away. The docs also said just to give my body time to heal and allow my lining to build up. I'm starting to chart my temps to see if i'll even ovulate before my first AF after the m/c shows. Maybe we'll both get lucky! Annemarie, My m/c also came right before our vacation. it sucked! I'm sorry you are still crying and DH doesn't understand. Big Hugs! I too was hoping my cycle would return at a normal time, but so far, It's been over 8 weeks, and no sign of AF..my levels were really high, and it's taking them a long time to come down. I got really excited thinking that I was pg again, since that can happen, but no such luck for me...I guess I'll keep waiting and keep taking the blood tests my doc ordered. Thank Jeri for your kind words. I too am sorry for your loss, but as I like to say, all things happen for a reason. The important thing to do, is to move on knowing that their was nothing that you or any of us could have done. M/C is a natural part of pregnancy. NEW COMER!! I have read every one of these emails dating back to Feb. and you all have answered my ques. on why, how and when. I had a mc 1 month ago June 8 and my husband and I have decided that we will try to get pregnant again after my 1st period, which came 2 days ago. I don't want to wait and if it was meant to be, then it will be. Life is too short to wait for your dreams, so I'm gonna make sweet love in 11 days and hope for my little miracle and every month after that untill he or she arrives!! My hgc are all the way down. I had a total m/c with no problems or pain in fact had I not had a postive test I would never have known I was pg. My doctor wants me to wait until August to start trying but I want to now. Hope we all get what we want and soon. I am praying for us all and our soon to be bundles of joy! I once heard an old wives tale that if you smell a mans armpit you will start. I guess I will be doing some smelling tonight lol! On another note not to sound stupid but what is AF?

I have had 3...as of yesterday. It can takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks. If you have not gotten your period after 8 weeks I would check with your doctor. It all really depends on your body...everyone and every pregnancy is different.

Annemarie, I am sorry for your loss. Not everyone starts period early after m/c. Others take 8 weeks while others 4-6 weeks. It depends on how your body hormones are working. I am now 5 weeks and 2 days since m/c but I have no sign of AF. Your hormones are not yet back to normal. They are still making your body to be in a pregnant state. If they go back to normal then you will start AF. I am also a bit worried but because of what I have been reading on this site and other sites I have learn that it takes 4-8 weeks for it to show up. Do not worry much. It is coming soon and you will be able to start trying again. It doesnt mean you are crying without a reason. You cry for your loss. It is painful to lose a baby like this. Your husband can not show how worried he is but you have to know that he is also very worried about it. It was his baby. My DH does the same thing that I use to think he is not worried. You can see how touched he is with the loss when he is alone. I am wishing you all the best so that you have your AF.

It has been 11 weeks since my d&c and today AF came for a visit! I never thought I would be this excited to have her visit. So to all you that have been waiting for AF.....it will happen when your body is ready! People kept telling me that and I didn't believe them.... so keep the your faith and you will get a visit soon!
