What are your opinions on having s_x 2 weeks after giving birth? While having st_tches as well but not sure if they've disolved yet...

They usually don't clear you until 6 weeks for s_x. I'm sure you can be there for your partner, but it's probably not a good idea to have anything going on down there for you.

I would probably wait a few more weeks as you had st_tches just in case. When I asked my doctor (during my 1st pregnancy) when the soonest I could have s_x again, her answer was that there is absolutely NO physical reason why you can't do it right after birth if you wanted if it doesn't hurt. That said she also pointed out that you are more prone to infections while everything is healing inside, which is why they advise not to until around 6wks post partum, to give your body time to heal. She also said there is no reason that you can't participate in other s_xual activity beside penetration before the 6wk mark (like masturbation, headjobs etc.) Even though I didn't have any tearing I personally decided to wait to have s_x as I was still bleeding & didn't want to take the risk. Hope this helps.

I had st_tches and had s_x 7 days after delivery. It hurt a little but was manageable.

i would wait until your doctor clears you. there's a reason the 6 weeks are standard for most doctors. less chance for injury. but i don't have experience in this. just always followed what my doc says and she hasn't steered me wrong yet.
