Getting Pregnant Right After Getting Off BCP S

I was on BCP's for about 6 years or so. I recently stopped taking them b/c I missed 2 pills in a pack (accidentally) and started my period. That period started on June 26th. Me and my bf still continued having s_x during this time, not always protected. Since then I have been bloated, feeling fatigued, get light headed sometimes and my nipples are extremely sensitive, it also seems that my areolas look a little darker etc. I am just wondering if you think it is possible that there is a chance that I could be pregnant or are these just signs of getting off the pill? I heard that it can take quite a while to get pregnant b/c I have been on them for so long. Just wanted to see if anyone could shed any light on this at all!

I actually got pregnant with my dd right after going off BCP's. So it is possible. I would wait to see if your period comes at the end of the month or when it is scheduled to come and if it doesn't, take a pregnancy test. Good luck.

it's posiible. I was off the pill for about 2 days when I got pregnant.

I was on the pill for almost 4 years. I went off it in june and have been off it for over a month now. Every woman's body is different, some women get pregnant right away, some it takes years. I had my last period June 14th and when July 16th rolled around I was so excited. I was feeling sick to my stomach, had severe cramping, my nipples were darkened and sore, i was dizzy and lightheaded, heightened sense of smell, lower back pain. I was almost positive that I was pregnant. My periods are usually like clockwork & i never get cramps or feel any different when i'm about to get my period. So I ran out and bought all these HPT but they all came back negative. I went and had a blood test done and it was also negative. I was feeling really discouraged because my body was screaming at the top of its lungs that I was pregnant but all the tests were negative. Then last night I got my period. I cried in the shower but atleast I know now that my body is not all out of whack from the BCP and i will now know when i ovulate and that i def. am, so we'll keep trying. Good luck, TTC is a big waiting game.
