I'm a little over 4 weeks pregnant and have already found s_x to be painful. I've read that due to increased blood flow you could become swollen down there. It was so painful we couldn't finish. My husband said it felt much tighter than normal. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how soon does it go away?

Yup, this is normal, but it shouldn't be painful.... if it is try using a water based lubricant or have him spend a little extra time warming you up. ;)

Hey there. Ye sit is normal. I had that too and it was one of the first clues I had to being pregnant. It went away at about 6 weeks but it is still tighter then I was and I am now 28 weeks pgt. It feels like you either shrank or your husband got bigger right? The pain I think you ar describig at least with me anyways is due to the fact that you are swollen. I would just lay off s_x for a while til things start to feel normal again. :)

I was having the same problem in the beginning and I was told by a freind to take it slow. He said that in his med cla__s a teacher told him that sometimes if your man penetrates you to fast than it can cause air to get trapped in you or somthing. Try having him penetrate you very slowly. Cant hurt to try. I worked for us. Then there are days here and there in the beginning where it feels sore anyway. If it hurts stop. If it continues to long see a doctor...or mention it at your appointments. Cant hurt to ask the doc right :) There are other things besides penetration that feel just as good perhaps ;)
