If I have s_x three days after my period can still take birth control.

can you still take birth control? You mean the day after pill? First of all, the chances of you getting pregnant three days after you finish your period are pretty slim. Very slim, actually. If your question was if you can take birth control - well, the day after pill you can take up to 72 hours after having s_x, and the normally used contraceptive (eg trilevlin) you are supposed to take the Sunday following the last day of your period. However, if you miss the Sunday, you can double up and catch up to the right day, if it's only a few days difference.
