If my fertile days were Sept. 24-30 and my most fertile day was the 27th and i didnt have s_x til the 28th do i still have a good shot at being pregnant?

The best time to have s_x is the day before or the day of ovualtion. It actually takes 12 hours for sperm to be in the right place to fertlize an egg and an egg only lives 12 -24 hours. So if you have s_x a little after the egg is released your chances start to go down. The good part is, if your guy has healthy sperm, they could live up to 5 days in your body. If you had s_x even 4-5 days before your most fertile day than you still have a chance.

If you really want to get pg, the best method is the "sperm meets egg" plan. Start having s_x everyother day, 6 days before you ovulate and 3 days after you are sure you have ovulated. So, if you know you are O'ing on CD 15, have s_x CD 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19. This gives you you the best odds. Having s_x every other helps the mans sperm build up so there are lots of soldiers at the ready.
