My partner and I have been going out now for 4 years and we decided to take extra birth control. I took my period on Wednesday 17th March and finished on Monday 22nd March. I then went to the doctors on Monday 22nd of March and decided to start taking the contraceptive pill. I started taking the pill on Monday the 22nd and on Thursday 25th my partner and I had intercourse but had an accident in that he had ejaculated inside me because the condom ripped. What are the chances I could be pregnant? Is there a chance and if so how much of a chance? The pill I am taking is microgynon 30

You have been having s_x for 4 years using only condoms, with no accidental pregnancy. Your fertility may not be very high. Now you had an accident on day 8 of your cycle, which is just inside the fertile window. You started a mini-dose bc pill this cycle, and my guess is that the maker recommends back-up birth control the first cycle. There is a chance of pregnancy, but I think it is quite small. Keep using condoms and taking the pill. You are probably OK.
