Ovulation happens 14 days before the start of your next period, which can be a real pain to figure out when to have s_x if you're trying to conceive. Count backwards from the earliest you expect your next period and the latest you expect your next period and have s_x every day between those two dates. If after a few months you're still haven't conceived, there are ovulation predictor kits which will tell you when you're ovulating or you can try the method of taking your temperature first thing in the morning to see when you're ovulation. Personally I think the first option is a lot of fun and should be given a try. :) Good luck!
