Hi I was having s_x with my boyfriend on august 27. It had already been a month and a week since my last period and I didnt have it, so I am assuming I was ovulating because of my really weird temper and random mood swings. Our condom broke and Im pretty sure he ejaculated inside of me. Being only 16 we bcame very scared and immediately went to planned parenthood and bought the next step pill which is exactly like plan b and took a pregnancy test. the test said negative so i proceeded to take both pills. its been a week and my period has not come. I am scared and I dont know what to do. It said that the pill should be 95% effective if taking within 24 hours of the accident and we did everything we could to prevent it but when can i expect my next period! its been 1 month and a half since my last one! if i was ovulating does that reduce the effectiveness of the pill!? PLEASE HELP!!!

PS do u ovulate 1-2 weeks before ur period or do i have that wrong! hopefully i have that wrong!

Could you be pregnant from s_x around Aug 5th, which is when you would have ovulated on a 28 day cycle. That would explain you mood swings as an early sign of pregnancy. Do you have any other signs like unusual fatigue? It is possible that you took the pregnancy test too early. Try taking another to see if the story has changed. GL!
