Ok...I went off of Loestrin 24 because of weight gain. I took the last active pill on August 22, 2008, started the withdrawal bleed on August 24, 2008 which ended 5 days later on August 28, 2008. I had unprotected s_x with my boyfriend around 1:00 am on August 31, 2008 and he accidentally came inside of me (he was supposed to pull out--stupid i know). Well, around 3:30 pm on September 2, 2008 I went to the bathroom at work and when I wiped after a BM (TMI...sorry) there was a pretty good amount of slippery, clear mucus on the toilet paper, causing me to believe I was ovulating/about to ovulate even though I had just stopped taking the pill and finished my period the Thursday before. I usually have a regular cycle of about 28-30 days (even before I went on Loestrin), and this was only day 9 or 10. I also had a sharp pain in my right ovary that afternoon. But when I went to the bathroom about 2 hours later, the mucus was pretty much gone! I'm so confused...did I ovulate? Also, I didn't notice the slippery mucus earlier that day or in the days before right after my period stopped. Could I be pregnant? Do people ovulate that early after coming off the pill? I want to test, but I know it's too early. Has anyone had a similar experience?
