i used one last night and afterwards my uterus conrtacted into a tight ball. i got a real fright. there was no pain and i used it externally. was this braxton hicks? is the vibration bad for the baby?

Yes they were only braxton hicks. The reason your uterus contracted was due to the orgasm NOT the vibrations, it would have happened if you orgasmed masturbating manually or with help. I used one quite often during both my pregnancies when hubby was away (& sometimes even with him for more pleasure) & had 2 VERY healthy babies that both went over the due date. Unless your doctor has advised not to do anything s_xually (usually if you are prone to preterm labour or miscarriage) than don't be concerned & enjoy all the orgasms you can before bubs comes & your way too tired. :)
