I have been using birthcontrol pills since I was probably in middle school, mainly to help with period cramps and irregularities. I didn't start having s_x until I was married (I'm 18) I just recently got off the pills and my husband and I are wanting a baby. I was curious as to if it takes a while after you get off the pill to conceive, if so, then how long. Also, when is the best time to have s_x if you are wanting to get pregnant? Please only answer if you are going to give serious advice. Thank you.

normally once you are off the pill your body should go back to normal.count from the day you start your period to about 14 days after is normally when woman are the most fertile. not all women have the same cycle though. It takes the average couple 6 months to a year to concieve,so don't be discouraged just keep on trying! Best wishes to you!!

I think it should only take a month or so to be out of your system. I was getting the depo shot, and that takes longer. Check with your doctor to be sure and buy the ovulation test strips. Those worked for me!
