I would just like to know if a very light period could be a sign of pregnancy. Normally i have to use tampons, but with this one i barely needed pads.. my period is due about now but it just doesn't seem right. Its been 10 days since last seeing my boyfriend.. would anybody be able to offer some sort of advise??

I was 12 days late on my last period, i had s_x on the second day of my period, he came inside me, now i feel tired, the top and bottom of my back is aching, legs feel heavy,i've also noticed brownish mucas/blood when I wipe. Its not yet got heavy, when by now it should have. Is there a chance i could be preggers?

Hello confused, I think that you should try a Home Pregnancy test. They have some that will give you 2 for the price of one. Try one in the morning and if it is negative wait a week and try again. If you feel that you are pregnant after two negative HPT's then call your GYN. They'll know what to do.

You can still have a period when you are pregnant. I had a friend that had her period every month for the first 4 months of her pregnancy. It is more common than people think to have a period, or some kind of bleeding while pregnant. You may be pregnant if you have had s_xual intercourse and you have symptoms of pregnancy: A missed period -- (if your periods are usually regular). A short, scant period. Breasts that are sore, tender or swollen. You feel sick to your stomach, or you are vomiting. Fatigue -- feeling more tired than usual. You need to urinate more often than usual. Mood swings These symptoms don't usually occur until you have missed your period for about 2 weeks, but this varies from woman to woman, symptoms can occur earlier for some women (sometimes a week after a missed period). If you have missed your period, but have not yet taken a pregnancy test, don't a__sume you're pregnant. Continue to use contraception if you have intercourse and don't want to be pregnant. Remember that the length of your menstrual cycle can vary. There can be major changes in your cycle when you're under a great deal of stress. Before you proceed to get extremely worried, see if you have any of the signs of pregnancy. Signs of pregnancy usually occur one to two weeks after conception, although the they will vary from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. If you have any or all of these symptoms, go right away to your health care provider or family planning clinic and ask for a pregnancy test! If you don't want to go to a clinic yet, buy a home pregnancy test at any pharmacy. (These can be expensive), but this is an important test. READ the directions carefully before you use it and follow them.

If your period laste only a coupe of days and was VERY LIGHT unlike your regular periods, it was perhaps only SPOTTING. This can happen because of many reasons like damage to the cervix, or a gastric ulcer. The best solution to your dilemma lies in pregnancy tests. Try one at home. Try another one after a week to confirm. Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem. If you are "spotting" as your description seems to suggest then you could be pregnant. Lets hope we aren't!
