Seleste, your first ultrasound gave a due date of Aug 4th. Working back 40 weeks we get an LMP of Oct 30th, within one day of your recorded Oct 29th period. All ultrasound dates assume you ovulated on cycle day 14 or Nov 13th.  Sperm from Nov 6th would not have lasted that long, but Nov 12th was perfectly timed.

I am confident your husband is the father. Forget about DNA testing unless you want to 'fess up to your husband and have him tested. The jerk needs to get lost, trying to get you pregnant on the sly and then threatening to take the child. There is no court that would let him do that unless you have a record that proves you are an unfit mother.

Hello ! I am still very confused on the meaning on conception and how it works. Per my doc my my last missed period was Sept 3rd,conception date of Sept 17th. I do remember having a period in aug (not sure of the day) but for sure did not have one in Sept. I had sex with my partner Sept 11th/12th and then later in Sept on the 17th. So I am confused, did I "concieve" Sept 17th ( my conception date per my doc/SAME DAY I had sex) or would have I concieved sometime late in aug? Break it down to me please !

Laurel, conception takes place when sperm penetrates egg. The egg lets loose at ovulation which is about 14 days after the beginning of your last menstrual. It starts dividing as it moves down the fallopian tube and implants in the uterus about five days later. 

A last menstrual Sept 3rd makes likely ovulation Sept 17th and your sex that day very well timed. Sperm from Sept 12th would have been five days old and at the limit of survival. A paternity test is necessary to sort this out for sure, but the 17th is the likely winner.

If your cycle is always less than 28 days your partner stands a better chance; if always more than 28 days the 17th gets greater advantage..

Grandpa viv- I had my last know period end of August - don't remember exact date. I had unprotected sex a couple times the week commencing 5th September... 

but in the 12 of September I kind of had sex again - I stopped it before went to far.. took morning after pill on Tuesday 13th as a precaution.... on Wednesday the 14th I had a light bleed untill the sat or Sunday and from then iv had brown blood when I wipe - doctors said it was implantation bleed. Could I if got pregnant on the 12 or is it from before that? 

Louise, let's say your August period started 8/24 and you have a 28 day cycle, ovulation would have been during the week of 9/5 and unprotected sex that week could easily have started a pregnancy. By 9/12 the egg would aready have been fertilized and close to implantation. Emergency contraception would not have been effective.

Let's say your August period started 8/29, you would have ovulated 9/12 and sex that day could be responsible for your pregnancy though the emergency contraception should have stopped it, and anyway your exposure was slight.

In my opinion the guy on 9/12 is unlikely responsible. A paternity test when the baby is born will confirm the 9/5 guy.

So I went for a early scan yesturday got told I'm 'about' 5 n half weeks pregnant

Hmm, that 5 1/2 weeks on Oct 8th puts ovulation about Sept 12th, plus or minus a couple of days. Sex Sept 9th could be responsible as could Sept 12th. If your spotting Sept 14th was indeed implantation then Sept 9th would be the better choice. I still think a paternity test is going to be necessary especially if child support will be involved.

Im sure I know as I say that one time on the 12th nothing happened it was stopped!?

So I have a problem here , I am 17 weeks 5 days pregnant. My due date is September 23-28 2017. My boyfriend and I were going through a lot of problems and I accidentally had a one night stand on January 1, 2017. It was completely unintentional, and never happened again. I was really drunk and don't remember how it happened. I keep reflecting back on the weeks I am . Does that mean I gotten pregnant in December ? Or January. Please HELP ME. 

Kristen, this is not the news you were hoping for, but a due date of September 25 goes along with ovulation January 1st. That New Years party must have been wild! I don't suppose for a moment you used any protection and you were close to ovulation which puts your sex drive in high gear. A paternity test when the baby comes will settle it, but I suggest you 'fess up with the bf rather than try to live with hidden guilt for all time. Maybe he fooled around at that time too. 

Hey I have a desperate question . So I'm given the due date of July 30. Although I'm pretty sure who the father of my child is I have this small doubt in my mind. I had unprotected sex with my partner everyday . When I was told my due date they told me October 23 was my last menstrual period. And that I conceived on November 6. I had sex with someone else on October 27 2016.(going through problems not the best way to do things) But one time. prior to that I had sex with my partner the 26 and 28, 29, so forth. My question is what day could I have gotten pregnant with a due date of July 30. They told me my due date was July 26 at first. And my second question is could I have gotten pregnant on a Sunday ??

Kimkim, I prefer to go with the first ultrasound which should be more accurate. It suggests you ovulated Nov 2nd and sex Oct 29 thru Nov 3rd is most likely responsible. Since this kind of estimate can be off by a day or two, the Oct 27th encounter is not totally ruled out. If it is any comfort the later due date makes Oct 27 even less likely. A paternity test would help set your mind at ease. 

Sex on the Sabbath has just as good a chance as any other day. 

Hello. I have a question. I am currently 24W and 5d along. My due date is Aug.21 2017.. My LMP was November 14th, 2016 and every website online says I conceived on November 28th. My fiance and I had intercourse(unprotected) but we used the pull-out method on November 23rd around 2AM.  And we also had intercourse probably on the 25 and 27th(also only using pull-out method) ... so could the intercourse even from the 27th have gotten me pregnant?  

Amanda, your lmp and due date both suggest ovulation Nov 28th. Sex Nov 27th would have been perfectly timed. Sex any time from the 23rd to the 29th would have had a chance.
