Hi, im 17 and i don't know if i'm pregnant. I had s_x with my ex on jan 16. and my last period started jan 6. I've been sick to my stomach and throwing up every morning for about a week. My br___ts hurt really bad, they're swollen, and the bumps are getting bigger and there's more of them. I have to go to the bathroom constantly! I've kinda had some cramps for a week, but not bad at all. My lower back aches sometimes, and i've felt really bloated. My period was supposed to start yesterday, but it came today. at first it was kinda brownish and light. after a couple hours i had realllyy bad cramps and it was heavier. Now the cramps are almost completely gone, and i'm getting dizzy sometimes. I'm scared cuz i don't know if i'm pregnant, and i don't want anything to happen to my baby if i am! I need some advice......

If you are having a heavy period, then most likely you are not pregnant. It sounds like you did have s_x in a time range that could have led to pregnancy, but the period shows that obviously it didn't happen. I personally believe that sometimes we can get a fertilized egg that is starting implant, but either doesn't do it correctly or hasn't had enough time to dig in really good before our bodies start to shed the lining of our uterus (our period). The symptoms you are having could just be premenstrual. The peeing is odd though, but not completely out of the ordinary. When you are s_xually active and not keeping up with hygiene and drinking plenty of water then you can give yourself a slight bladder infection-the constant peeing. So again, I think the answer to your question is NO! But keep an eye on that peeing!

If you were pregnant, your symptoms (throwing up etc) would have started around say.. 7 days after the time when you probably would have ovulated. which is generally too early to be having those kinds of symptoms. Are you still having a regular flow period ? Some women do bleed in very early pregnancy, but its usually not a full b__wn period kind of a bleed. If you do feel that you are pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test or make an appointment with a doctor , If you dont want to see your family doctor you could go to a planned parenthood or other similar community womens clinic. They will give you a pregnancy test. My guess is that you are not pregnant. you might want to see a doc anyhow, to get some reliable birth control . good luck to you !

I didn't have heavy bleeding for long. Only about a day. Now it's gone, and i just used a liner the rest of the time. That is definitely not normal for me, it's always heavy the whole time except the last day, and always 7 days. It was brownish looking, or really light pink. I'm still having all the symptoms, except i haven't felt so sick when i wake up. I got another test to take,, but when is the best time to get an accurate answer? I just really want to know if i am, or if something's wrong, so i can take care of myself.

You should be able to take a test now and it be accurate. And if you are then you are probably fine. The bleeding could have been implantation bleeding. So go test or go to a doctor and have a test.
