I am 18 years old and me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected s_x for about a year. I am not on birth control or anything like that..Last time I had my period was the beginning of this month and I should be getting it (hopefully) early next month..but in the last few weeks I've been getting really random headaches and i've been so tired, but that's probably from school, and I've had back pain/stiffness. And just in the past few days i've had lower abdominal cramps and pain that shooots from the middle down towards the right side of my hip bone. Most of the time it hurts to move..could i be pregnant????..Please Help!!

Something unusual about this post is that most 18 year olds having regular unprotected s_x for a year would have been pregnant nine months ago. Next item is that ovulation occurs two weeks before expected menstruation, and early pregnancy signs start only one week before expected menstruation. What is with the pregnancy signs of tired, headaches, and back pain starting three weeks ago, about when your last period ended? My best guess is that you got pregnant from s_x in mid August, and the "period" at the beginning of the month was an in-pregnancy bleed. You probably had early pregnancy signs at the end of August and thought they were regular PMS. Was the period shorter and lighter than usual?
Now you have come to the Internet mostly because of serious pain, at what may be 7 weeks pregnant, which is when pain from ectopic pregnancy is first noticed. The pain is more intense than "weird cramps" most often described. Have you ever had pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) which increases the risk? A pregnancy test might or might not give a positive, as ectopic pregnancies do not get hCG hormone building up as fast as normal.
Don't get unduly alarmed. I am just being cautious. Doing a home pregnancy test would be a good move. Google "pain of ectopic pregnancy" where you will find comments such as "Similar to its location, the pain felt with an ectopic pregnancy can also vary. For some women, the pain has been described as a dull ache located on one side of the abdomen. For others, the sensation ranges from long-lasting, throbbing pain to intense, shooting pain." If what you read rings any bells, you need to call your doctor or visit the ER and ask to be checked for ectopic pregnancy.
Good luck!
