Just wanted to drop in and see how everyone is doing. We just got back from Lila's WIC appointment and I'm so tired. Its 10:21am and its like 80 degrees! So Lila will be 1 year old on the 24th (5 days!!!) and she is 17 almost 18lbs and 28in long. She is still so tiny but very healthy. For those of you with walking babies what age did they start? I think Lila is just being stubborn and lazy, she hasn't even taken a step :(

Addy started at I believe... 14 months. She'll do it when she is ready :) You'll see little hints that she is about to soon. She'll stand up more let go of things stand on her legs all on her own.. etc.

Well she has been letting go and standing for a few moments..maybe 10 seconds or so. Then she realizes she is doing it and sits back down...what a chicken lol

She is so tiny lol...Sam will be 10 months in 8 days...she doesn't walk yet but she stands on her own for a few moments...as Addysmummy said she will when she is ready...my oldest nephew was 9 months when he started and his youngest brother was 15 months when he started. So they will when they are ready

Most babies don't take their first steps until at least 1yr so if she's standing & even letting go she's doing great. DD took her first steps at 8.5mths & DS took his 1wk before 9ths but they take after their father with the early walking, as most do not start that early. Don't worry too much, it sounds like she's on track & is not being lazy at all.

My daughter just turned one on June 13th. She took steps a couple weeks before her birthday but really started walking during her party.

Hey Kasey! Glad to hear Lila is doing good.Paxton is 20lbs (chunky monkey lol) and is 28in. She started walking when she was 10 months old, but she's always been wanting to walk anyway. She has 6 teeth, waves,claps, says yum (her favorite word lol), no, go etc. Little words. She's such a smart little girl. She'll be one on July 24th. That will be such a sad day! Anyway keep us updated!

I think she'll walk soon :) If she makes effort to stand ALONE then it's not to long after that where she will walk!
