Hi, my name is haylee and am 16. Its been about a month since i had s_x. I am on birthcontrol. The last time we had s_x he came in me. I have been with him for two years and he is in the army. I have been feeling like i am going to throw up for about a week. i have had to pee alot more. I had my period, bt it was 7 days early and it was only 4 days long. I have been haveing bad headaches and sometimes my lower back hurts. I took a pregnancy test about 5 days ago and it was negative, but it was a really cheap one. I'm scared it didn't work. help!!!

i dont think it matters if u had a cheap or expensive pregnancy test if the cheap ones didnt work i dont think they would be allowd to sell them.If u ha had a period and it was heavy or medium just as long as u wasnt spotting i think u are probably good. I am betting your not prego sometimes your body just does weird things.

you might wanna wait like 3 more weeks and then test again. if you still feel sick make a doctors appt.

A month after the s_x would put you a week or two late for a proper period. By that time a home preg test should be pretty reliable. Why don't you take one more using first morning pee, Dollar Store will be fine. How long have you been on birth control? Maybe a change in that area has upset your cycle. First s_x can also throw things out of whack. Good luck!

Yeah, if you are just starting on birth control or just starting a new brand, it can give you pregnancy-like symptoms. All in all, it seems like you've done all the checking you can, if I were you, I'd take one more test, and if it comes out negative, I'd make an appointment to see the doctor. You may need another brand of birth control, or you may be sick. Also, you could have a urinary tract infection that's getting bad. I once had an episode like your describing when I was 17 and ended up in and out of the ER for a week because I let it get really bad and I had caused some problems with my kidneys. I had really bad headaches, felt like puking, and was peeing constantly. Luckily I wasn't s_xually active so I didn't have to sweat it. But I didn't go to the doctor and I let it get to the point of blood in the urine, being in a constant state of the spins, BADDDDDD pain in my lower stomach and back, throwing up, HORRIBLE headache, and when I finally went to the hospital it was because I became unable to see in the light. So really, you should call and make an appointment!
