I had unprotected s_x about 8 days after the first day of my period. I am on birth control but I messed up my pills badly and I'm not sure if its possible that I'm pregnant. I would be about a month now. I have been experiencing extereme fatigue, major mood swings, and back pains. I was supposed to get my period about a week ago, but the only thing I got was brown spotting. I had a little bit of a flow for about an hour or two but it was really dark and very uncommon for me. I'm not really sure what is going on or if I should take a test. Can someone help?

This could go either way - pregnant, or getting a hormone event from a messed pill regime. Women do sometimes get pregnant from s_x on day 8 of their cycle. Since you are about to start another round of active pills, you should take a test using first morning pee. GL!
