Hello,
First and foremost, I want to say that I am very confused, worried, and becoming scared as each day goes on. I'm here hoping that someone can help me out. It's different because it's not the girl asking this time, it's the worried boyfriend. Here's some background information, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help me out. My girlfriend does not remember getting her period in November, nor December. I'm pretty sure she had gotten it in November, but December is a little iffy. The last time we've had s_x was around mid-December, and to this day, she has not gotten her period. She has taken 3 HPTs over the past few weeks, and they all came out negative. She's planning on going to a clinic sometime this week. Is there any possibility that she's pregnant? I don't want to be the one that gave her this burden, as we are both first year college students. She has become more stressed out about this, which saddens and worries me. I'd appreciate any input from anyone, it would help a lot. Thanks

If you had s_x she could be pregnant... it's as simple as that. She's doing the right thing by going to the clinic, the chances of three false negatives are very slim, but a blood test would still be more accurate. If it comes out negative again they'll be able to help her figure out why her periods are late.

Also, it sounds like she's been stressed for a while about possible pregnancy, and stress can make you late.

The chances of false negatives at this point are slim, she may just be stressing herself out. It's good she is going to a clinic, blood tests ARE accurate.
