That was wrong. If it makes you feel any better I also thought for sure that I'd have a little stubborn sucker that wouldn't let me see, or would be in one of those weird positions where you think you see one thing and you when it's born you learn it's the other s_x, but when I went my little boy had his legs wide open and it was like he was say "here it is b___hes." It was sooo funny because I called my family to tell them and all the women who are moms said "oh well, you never really know when they say it's a boy-a lot of times it turns out to be a girl." They didn't believe me when I said Oh trust me, It's a boy, until they saw those pictures!!! those little suckers are funny. And look at it this way, if you can't see then it's your babies way of saying-Mommy I want it to be a huge surprise when you meet me. Your baby will teach a great lesson in patience. So you win either way.

My ultrasound tech said she was the most difficult baby she had ever scanned. She wouldn't move for ANYTHING... but we still managed to get the s_x, so don't worry about it :)

My daughter refused to open her legs. I was like come on i taught you better then that j/k lol. But finally after like 45 mins the tech got em pushed apart. I knew it was a girl before he even said it b.c i went to my bfs gender ultrasound and knew what the lines looked like.

Take the noodle test! It's kind of just an old wives tale, but it's worked and been right every time i've seen it.
Boil a noodle and have someone (or yourself) hold it above your palm. The theory is that the energy of a girl with make the noodle go in circles around your palm, and a boys energy will allow it to hang strait down.----of course nothing beats seeing a p___s or a v____a on an ultrasound, but it's something fun to try anyway.

Yeah they shake your tummy around to get the baby to move, but Ellie would not budge. She tried shaking mine like every few minutes and then she had my lay on my side. Nothing was working. Now she favors turning her head to one side when she's sleeping so she's starting to get flat head, nothing seems to be working to get her to try the other side either. My doctor told me to saftey pin her to her mattress, so I did, and she gladly stretched her onesie out just to get back on that one side.

Well it forces her to sleep on her side. I thought it seemed a little mean too.

Mentioning this scares me because if someone isn't careful then it could be bad, but my dad molded our heads when we were little babies. We all were the same way about laying on one spot so my dad-when he was rocking us to sleep would hold and rub our heads in a circular motion and would do so with the slightest pressure-SLIGHT!!!! and over time it is like braces, as the skull fuses together it makes sure your babies head isn't all lopsided. I had to do the same thing with my sons ear. My son didn't move around a lot, it's like the whole time he was in me he'd stay pretty much head down and with his head tucked into my pelvic bone. That ear obviously was constantly smashed so when he was born, the top of the lob was kind of rolled in. When I was putting him to sleep I would rub his head in a circular motion and rub that ear open, and now he has a great shaped head and his ear is completely normal! Also it is really soothing for them. It's like a ma__sage.

My doctor also told me to pull her head to the opposite side--gently of course-- 10 times a day. I do it but I don't like to. She hates it. Though he said she would hate it haha. I think it's to stretch out the muscle or something.

Umm your doctor sounds like he works for some kind of torture fetish organization. Just take her head and place it in your palm and ma__sage it with the lightest pressure-kind of like when people ma__sage your scalp but instead of using your fingertips, use the palm of your hand-and where there's more uneveness stay there a little longer-unless he hates to be touched then she probably wont complain. I've never met a little baby that didn't like a good calming ma__sage. It's something you can do when you are rocking her to sleep, just do that instead of stroking her face or hair. You won't hate THAT-it's great bonding.
