28 Weeks Pregnant 3rd Live Pregnancy Baby Drop

I am 28 wks pregnant and 2 weeks ago I noticed my tummy looked tiny, and baby is now laying low (I presume, as babies cant shrink!). last night whilst in bed I felt painful stabbing in my moo. it felt like baby was trying to push his head out and I felt so much pressure down there I thought something was going to pop. I have had complicated births, 1st being emergency c section (breech), 2nd vbac pph. this time im due to go natural but 3rd stage active management. what is going on inside me and will baby be a prem? any help and advice would be great as my midwife is on 5 week holiday and no one has been assigned my case

I should also mention I am still feling the pain, as well as a lot of discharge and can wee for England, more than usual
