My last ultrasound (at my hospital anyway) was March 26, I went in thinking I was due May 27th, but they changed my due date to June 20th. I went in for a routine check up yesterday, and my doctor measured my stomach and told me she was getting really big, then he scheduled me another ultrasound for April 19th. Is it normal for him to be scheduling my ultrasounds so close together, or does it sound like he thinks he made a mistake in her due date?

maybe he made a mistake in changing it the first time, or she could of just had a growth spurt which is normal. hopefully your ultrasound will give you a good answer and if your due date is changed let know, you will still be welcome in the june mommy thread so don't hold out on us.

You're just in a delima like me aren't you? Was the May 27th due date going off when your last period was? And did they change it because of ultrasound measurements?

Well, since my periods were irregular I'm not sure when my last period was. But according to my conception date it would have been May 27th. When I had my very first ultrasound at about 15 weeks they told me my due date was May 30th, but I ignored them. So I've had my due date changed a bunch of times.

I can relate...my periods werent't irregular but almost non-existant after I had my 1st lo. I am not even sure of the conception date because we weren't actively TTC. When I had my 1st u/s they gave me June 4th as a due date going by measurements BUT I was already well into the 2nd trimester when I had that u/s. They aren't exactly accurate at that stage because every baby has growth spurts at different stages. Well, needless to say my doc now wants to do an internal at my next appoinment (I will be 34wks...or so I think) to check for...who knows what...I guess any possible dilation. Because technically my baby could be due anytime after mid-May. IMO your doc is doing u/s's so close together and so often to help them determine your due date better. Because this way they can monitor your lo's growth. It's not normal but I suppose neccessary in your case because the date given is "off" by about month. Have you been tested for GD yet?

Oh and my conception date may have been something different, but it's unlikely. If my due date was June 20th my conception date would have been September 28th, which I know isn't right because that was the day my nephew was born and I was with my sister two weeks before and one week after she gave birth.. So I wouldn't have even had time.
