FMLA Leave Need Some Help

Ok, I'm a teacher & am due at the end of June. Even though I'll have about 8 weeks off still until school starts, I want more! I'm looking into FMLA leave. DOes anyone know if this has to be taken consecutive with the birth of the baby? (If my baby is born in June, can I start my FMLA leave in August??) Thanks!

You can spread your 12 weeks out over hte year, actually! :-) Good luck!
