So...everyone tends to focus more on the mom and the baby...I wanted to surprise my husband with a nice little gift at the hospital... doesnt have to be something costly or major.. .just thought something nice and meaningful would be great to give him right after the birth... anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking around online- but havent come across anything great just yet. He is a big time baseball fan... so was looking at maybe incorporating something dad-related into baseball...... anyway- just thought maybe someone had a good suggestion!

I've decided to write my DH a poem/thank you card, to give to him en route and tell him not to open until after baby is delivered...I want to thank him for all the times past, all that we've been through and especially for our gift...and want to word it too as though I'm presenting/giving this gift to him... Feel free to share this idea too...You're right--our men should NOT be left out. In a world with so many deadbeat dads, to have one there with us along our side is priceless...they should be included and appreciated. Best wishes.

For Christmas, I wrapped up a onesie that said, "I love my Daddy" from the baby. He gave me a bag of trailmix and a huge Hershey's Bar with a sticky note on it that said, "Please share with Daddy". Needless to say, "Daddy" ate all the chocolate bar, but it was very cute!
