Glucose Test Done At 38 1 2 Weeks

hey everyone just wanted to know if anyone has been told to do a Glucose test so late in the pregnancy......dr. figures baby is growing fast......does this mean an earlier intuction?? i am scheduled for next thursday......i found it kinda pointless to do one but i don't know what it means........anyone have any ideas??? oh and i have been having contractions for 2 1/2 weeks 7 to 10 min apart.......was on bed rest at 32 weeks due to baby tryin to come early....haven't been for a few weeks now.......and i have high blood pressure........any thoughts?

lmao talk about being forgetful.........wanted to add i was negative at 28 weeks for GD.......but had it with my first born.....and was on incilin twice a day
