My name is Susanne and I am a doctoral student in Social Psychology at Kent State University. I am interested in how mothers prepare for the changes of parenthood and to examine this I am currently conducting a study that will include approximately 100 first-time mothers. We currently have 90 mothers in our study and are looking for approximately 10 additional expectant mothers.
If you are married or living with your significant other and expecting your first child you may be eligible to participate in my study. My study has already received approval from Kent State’s Inst_tutional Review Board. Participation is confidential and involves two short online questionnaires (the first during your 3rd trimester and the second at 1-month postpartum). I hope that the results of the study will provide helpful information to future mothers as they make the joyous and challenging transition to being a parent.
